    To me scouting and then adjusting your strategy is the best part of hunting especially when it all comes together.

    Second what dBhunter said about scouting. Last gun season i missed a nice buck running right between two ladder stands so this summer i moved a stand 20 yds from run he was on and sure enough killed a buck there this October.

    7M Scrapes and rubs everywhere but limited movement in daytime but corn is being cut across the highway although i did catch a buck at 430...

    Let me just say I've been hunting 30 yrs and I own and hunt only on my own land and do not bait and I do get out of my tree when I can't see my pins....BUT there are plenty of hunters "we all know" who tresspass, bait, stay out too late (already discussed), and think they own all the deer in the woods...let's be honest....and no laws are going to change these neanderthals because its all about them

    Yea well buddy shot at 7:00 PM Oct 3rd and hit he "thinks " what was a doe "it might have been a buck" ??? and recovered arrow broken below the vanes but no blood trail at all. Looked with spotlights and next morning for hours and still no blood>>>"So where did you hit it?" "Oh not sure maybe the leg?????" So maybe legal light rule might not be so senseless...

    Show is loosing its appeal its SLOW moving and pretty much pointless now

    I put my harness on before i leave the house/camp and keep my outer layer in my backpack until I get hooked in the tree. I use a mountain climbing carabiner to hook in...don't leave home without it
