  2. Thats great! A nice nap in the woods beats any day at work...
  3. F'in jets are u kiddin me? Star should be ours he's a beast...at least we are not the raiders...
  4. Just like my buddy, we call him the "one man band"
  5. Good point Grow about bow season...we usually hear/see flyups in oct while bow hunting..
  6. Got pic of this beast on my clover patch
  7. So Obama meets with Faisal and now they are "deporting" this saudi kid as fast as they can...His family supposedly has big ties to al Queda even one relative married to Zawiri's daughter??? smells rotten if any of this is true...
  8. Easy part is locating the roost.....whether its the night before or from past experience. hard part is to sneak in close enough without spooking them off the roost. Then you have to anticipate which way he will go when he hits the ground unless you can call him in straight away. Tactics is the best part of hunting in my opinion!
  9. When they arrest some dupe tomorrow and say he used gunpowder we are screwed....won't be able to buy more than one box of shotgun shells soon...
  10. Unfortunately as far as fracking is concerned you will never know what to beleive...common sense tells you yeah its(shale deposits) a mile down so what harm can it do but then we know not to fully trust these big corporations..on the other hand you get these crazy enviro people who are lighting jugs of so called "water" on fire to make there point...The facts that I do know to be true are from my own experience for I have had a gas lease for the last few years and the checks are helping me put two kids through college....no windfall by any stretch but I'm not complaining...now I get letter from gas co's lawyers and it looks like they are going bankrupt because they have leased all this land but NYS is not letting them drill...
  11. Guess the Korean crises is over too....(new news cycle)
  12. To each his own but I know one thing: You smoke=You stink
  13. Hey Dom my wife is Irish and when we first were going together way back she said it was stupid that I called it gravy and said that "gravy is brown", So I told her no thats "potato sauce".
  14. All of us "amateurs" will be hungover tomorrow...
  15. I hate that Fienstien beatch....you would think a half billion her and her husband stole from us taxpayers would've made her go away.
  16. Was looking for the $55 ameristep(I think) blind that they always have. Didn't find it yet, maybe in April. And yes they had plenty of cheap hang-on stands.
  17. Stepped out on back deck this morning at 6 but no gobbles here. Just cars, bus, train some sirens....must be too early yet.
  18. Good points but I'm just saying we need not rely on China to lead on this but yes it would be best if they partnered with us and other regional states to apply pressure. A subtle threat of military action will help bargaining position and only be used as a last resort.
  19. History is correct but if we leave this problem to China and do not put our big boy pants on we are screwed. No one is talking land invasion, that's just stupid but taking out nuke reactors/enrichment plants etc makes sense...set them back years. Only if they do not dismantle program themselves....to get them to do this is the trick
  20. Thats really cool Dave. Good to see some old traditions being practiced today. Kudos!
  21. Don't give them any ideas G-MAN lol...but seriously we have to put the right amount of multi-lateral pressure on them...we must not ignore the problem like we did with Bin Laden. South Korea, Japan & Taiwan must be brought in to apply the pressure and we all must be prepared to go the distance (military action/surgical strike on their nuke plants etc).
  22. North Korea always makes threats when they want to blackmail us. Usually they're not this blunt about it. Clinton paid them not to make trouble but all the while they kept up their nuclear program so Bush put an end to direct talks with them. Neither policy has seemed to work IMO. So now that they are facing more UN sanctions they are up to their old tricks, aka nuclear blackmail...not any easy solutions if any
