115 grain nosler partition 52.3 grains of IMR 4831. Killed the biggest buck of my life 9 point 203 pounds. He ran 20 yards after a lung shot. This pretty much mimics the federal fusion I believe. But I make my own.

Is Cuomo running unopposed?

If you watch politics closely like I said people remember what is said last not first. That is why the prosecution always goes last in closing arguments. the true campaigning begins in mid october. Never play all your cards the first time around the table. On SEPTEMBER 7th Astorino is doing a one day across the state rally. He is starting ib buffalo with a rally there then in Syracuse and on to Albany where a huge gathering is planned at 1PM. he has said much about how the safe act was passed and how he plans to defund it in much detail if elected, which essentially shuts it down in . He is traveling by vehicle on the thruway and the plan is to flood the thruway with vehicles essentially shutting it down also. Look it up on his website and pan to go to a stop. I stopped placing these informational posts and the proportion of political ads was too high for most. Why do you think Cuomo is doing such a smear campaign? One simple reason he is nervous for his job. The same reason he hid in a building at the fair and does not announce where he will be. So he is not met with the opposition that makes him look bad. To throw in the towel now is just simply wrong. But hey I am seeing more and more complacency. All I can say is wait until January if he gets re elected. Then I will sit back and say I told you so even though I will suffer the wrath just as much. -

Is Cuomo running unopposed?

Ok so I guess we can change the whole system before November. I asked what did you do or plan to do. By not answering, I guess a sign in your yard is enough. I thought you were in for the long haul. I guess not. These are not popular excuses. They are reality. Without funds, he can not get his message out. So keep your purse strings drawn tight and complain how the system does not work. -

so if ever gun owner (estimated 6 million) donated 100 dollars Astorino could outspend Cuomo hugely. Better to say oh we are defeated I guess. -

How much money did you donate to help him? Timing and money is everything. It costs hugely to put an ad on TV. How much door knocking have you done to get his name out? He is not burning a lot of his assets now, and have nothing closer to the election. People remember what they heard last, not first. Hell look at polls a candidate says one thing polls change by points the next week it turns right back around. A sign is your yard is a great start. But we need to do much more to help him. Why nor organize a meet and greet in your area through a local gun club? Coumo has almost unlimited funds to play with. Plus if the only name recognition he was getting was from Cuomo bash ads, apparently the people in your area are not paying attention to them, or they would know his name. He is out all over the state almost daily. Hell he is even traveling here to the frozen north early september for a meet and greet. This will be his second trip here as well as his running mate Chris Moss has been here and marched in a parade with my group this summer. Complaining that Astorino is not doing enough will not help. Want him to come to your area, contact him and ask him to come. -
I actually buy both to use them during early muzzleloader here in the north. This will be my last year to do so, but I try to fill an old tag during the last 4 days of September with my bow. I get a week before regular season to hunt with the muzzlelaoder and a week after regular season. And to clarify, the state does not think a crossbow is a muzzleloader. The state saw it as a way to make money and not everyone has an archery certification. If you needed one at this point to hunt with a crossbow, classes would be flooded to get an archery certification, many would not get in and would be very upset. So they make you buy a tag to use the crossbow. 15 bucks extra for everyone sold, no hassles to get into a class. Stste is getting money they other would not. Instructors are not overwhelmed and people are trying a crossbow. Personally I think it is a stupid way to go about it, but it is ny state.

why do you think this? So a dec officer stops you to check. Where is that harassment? I look at it as them doing their job. Suppose they catch 10 guys who are trying to be cute and ticket them. I also see that as a good thing. Plus if you read a lot of posts on here, the dec officers are scarce and never around anyway. Most people had no clue there was a possibility of getting yellow togs until they bought the new ones. Threads like this help them to see now that they can try to break the law. However I seriously doubt that would happen much with the guys and ladies who are on here regularly. But you never know with the lurkers.I think it will go smoother than most think.

I would think as a follow up how many hunt the properties. I have 8 total

Cuomo's Fishin Tournament
bubba replied to cdmckane's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
he is a sneaky little devil. he has spies all over. he has changed plans several times in the last 18 months when he heard there may be a welcoming committee. he went to the opening of the state fair and never went outside. I guess he thinks if he does not see it, it does not exist. -
4 ladder stands 6 ground blinds one huge shooting box up in the air 3 shacks. 450 acres total

I am surprised they are not orange. Oh wait that is for next year I understand
-
All of mine are yellow. But they have the year printed right on them. I guess if you follow the laws, it will not matter what color they are.
-
staged. Why else would a camera be following them? Still a cool stunt. The last woman who asked me real or fake did not show me anything like that. BTW they were fake too.
-
I am so glad I buy mine every year. i was 10 minutes left with everything I asked for and all printed correctly as well. Ain't technology grand.

back tag number stays the same no matter how you get your license. it was assigned when decals started. I give them my drivers license and they look me up that way and my number stays the same.
-
Even though I drive a truck, I put mine on the trailer with the 4 wheeler. Toneau cover on the truck so I put my gear in the back under cover.

acorns are falling now at camp. very bad crop of apples though
-
i just put my cams out today. I will let you know Saturday.
-
It depends for me who is around. if camp is pretty empty, I will stalk and still hunt. If there is a few people around, I will sit until the agreed time, then I will walk to other hunters in the hopes something is between us.

most guns that shoot 150 grain pellets, the third pellet is not burned before the bullet exits the barrel. I winder what will happen to the fourth unless it has a 40 inch barrel at least.
-
all hype and a lot of cost

I got both at my local clerk when I got my license last week

30-06 ammo is much easier to get than 308. Not enough difference otherwise. But get the 06
