Lost their hunting licenses for 3 yrs. & got a $$$ penalty.

I worked for a utility & every truck had a machete on it . We used them to remove small brush & sapplings from our work area. Another stupid law from another bottom feeder! I always get a kick out of the dept. stores that have all the hunting knives under lock & key but if you go in the kitchen area all the meat cleavers, butcher knives, & other cutting utensils are hanging out in the open ! Again we are the crazies.

I was there 2 wks. ago & the guy told me their shipments come on Friday am. I was there this past Friday pm. The guy told me all they had left was target match 22's @ $17.50 a box.

Dip in egg wash, dip in Italian flavored bread crumbs , spread a can of diced tomatoes over them, put in oven 325* until golden brown , tender & moist.. Eat with mashed potatoes with the tomatoes & juice on them!

I was/am thinking of doing the same but I hate to spend the money & then have this A-hole state take it away in the future or tell me I can't use it!

Is WNY the only place that doesn't have 22 shells or is it across the state? Is it just NY or the whole country? I have been to Gander,Dicks, & Cabela's , independents, no one has any! They don't know when they will get any. I heard Dicks had a bucket of 1400 I went there & they were sold out in 1 day. (makes one wonder if the sales people are calling/telling their buddies when the ship. comes in! ) They said I should have been there yesterday, by the time you hear of or see an add they are gone. I wonder if they have the same problem in PA.? It would be worth the 1.5 hr. drive. I just want to do some plinking with my grandson and can't find a dam 22 shell! Now I saw where "they" are going after the 223 cal . ammo. looks like they are phasing us one cal. at a time ! Dirty Ba****ds! Rant over!

My paths & side walk are getting a bit narrow too & I use a snow blower. Haven't seen a deer or turkey at all. They must be having a hard time moving & getting through the snow. I 've had enough!

Grouse for sure, after they scare the hell out of you & you finally get your act back together they are gone out of sight & I for one am shooting at empty air! I think my best day ever was 3 of those SOB'S !

Just saw this on Facebook, Senator Patrick Gallivan (Elma, NY) is sponsoring 7 Senate bills that would amend , reform or repeal the NY safe act. Bills # S-3373 - S-3379. He is also the co- sponsor of 6 other bills to do the same. I for one will be in touch with his office to show him my support. Hope others here do also.

1) I'm not saying to kill all the stupid people, let's just remove all the warning labels & the problem will sort itself out! 2) I changed my horn to sound like a gun shot & now the people move out of the way a lot faster !

Doesn't need to be a famous thing , just something you heard growing up form dad, mom , grand parents or friends. Maybe something said/used at work! My dad always said " don't pi$$ into the wind you'll get your sneakers wet" ! Or that's why it's called fishing & not catching. If this rain keeps up , it won't come down. You can't get there from here! You would be further ahead if you backed up. The faster you go the behinder you get.

I have done this same thing with strips of cardboard 8" x 36" . Also can use a cardboard box stuffed full/tight with the plastic they use to wrap shipping around pallets with when shipping things. Pack them tight, tape them closed & wrap them with the same plastic. Can shoot at 4 sides flip them & shoot into tops or bottoms last for ever if you keep dry. I use boxes about 14"x24".

870 or a 500 with a screw in turkey choke works great. A 10 gage if you want to reach out to 60 yds. but to me the fun is seeing how close I can call them in. I prefer 40 yds. or less.

I bought myself a new Rem. 870 one yr. for X-Mas. I wrapped it & as a joke put a tag with her name on it. When she opened it & saw what it was, that's when the fight started ! Also told her once (as a joke) "You know this marriage thing is sort of like a hot bath, after you're in it a while it's not so hot ! She lol at that one. (45 yrs. & still together I tell her it will never last)

Wife ask if I was going to do something today because I didn't do anything yesterday ? I said I am going to start up where I left off & finish it up today! Then the fight started!

What happened to our January thaw, I missed it, anyone else ?? Calling for more snow, more low temps, & freezing rain, enough is enough ! I oiled my guns(2 he, he), made enough worm harnesses to last a life time, dusted , cleaned & organized all my hunting clothes/gear & fishing gear. And shoveled way too much snow ! Cabin fever & I am starting too crack !! Is it just me? lol
