  1. Congrats, what a great way to start.
  2. SWEEEEET. They look like you had a great weekend. Good on Ya!
  3. I am a K-12 Special Education teacher and Adult ESL teacher. Work with staff that is 99.9% Liberal :'( . I keep them on their toes.
  4. There could also be some NAVDHA tracking dogs in LI. A NAVDA dog to finish as a Versatile champion must be able to follow a wounded deer (if I remember correctly). Could check with them, they might know?????
  5. Good luck, to all my fellow hunters going out tomorrow.
  6. Military taught me that TP takes up to much room. They claim A large leaf or snow works just as well. I always carried TP, since one of the guys used poison oak to wipe with. Not a pleasant sight.
  7. Yes, but one pussssy.........Cat is more dangerous than the other. Can you guess which one?
  8. OHHH crap, I'm jealous. I wish you all a good and successful vacation.
  9. Sorry to hear this crap. But, what is an Aldi's?
  10. +1, besides, I would not fit into that teeny tiny car.
  11. Hunted all over the DEP lands in Dutchess. Some are good for deer and some are good for small game.
  12. There calling for a nor' easter for Thursday and Friday. Should keep the deer bedded down. Hopefully things will be better for Saturday.
  13. Dutchess county is tight. Will only need a !.5-2.5 powered scope. I believe most shots are under 50-75 yards. I've used an old sweet 16 with iron sights on the DEP there, never had a problem.
  14. Welcome enjoy the site. Less arguing and name calling here.
  15. As a Special Ed teacher, the day job is going well. The after school jobs have dried up. Used to teach adult ESL classes in the evenings and weekends. Haven't had a second job for approximately one year (and boy does it hurt). My hunting partner/best friend/brother-in-law, is in construction. Things are really bad. He had a work force of 11 a year and a half ago. Now, he has 3 guys and is letting them go. He will be working with his partner to get some money. The sad part is, I feel no matter who is in office, they only worry about themselves.
