  1. How did you let that one get by Eddie - or perhaps just letting em grow.
  2. well there goes my season next year - actually I would be way too lazy to feed deer even if it was legal. They are welcome to share the radishes I plant however.
  3. Serious question, do soldiers wear heating protection when in combat? I assume no but man that would be tough.
  4. So many conflicting views on yote control. Been reading some on it lately. Some argue that if you kill the dominant male and/or female of a pack, it allows the younger submissives to breed that would not have otherwise bred (due to pack hierarchy) resulting in an increase in population. I doubt you will remove too many (decimate the population) by hunting them if that is what you are worried about. Hopefully you take out those that are causing issues minimally.
  5. I was praying that you wouldn't scare him away Larry. lol
  6. People list them on ebay all the time. Not sure if they sell but I imagine there is a market for those that don't hunt and want the décor of a game room/cabin.
  7. Does your friend's wife speak at high db levels?
  8. No - that is the idea that the amplification is cut off on high db noises (like shooting) and then they act like any other muff.
  9. I have the walker razor slim. They work great. Added volume to the quiet sounds but protect from the high db noise of shooting. The only thing that isn't optimal for hunting is that its hard to tell sound direction when wearing them. That said, Andrew and I were just discussing that we need to start wearing them when hunting dogs. My ears were ringing for weeks after last outing. I don't want to permanently damage them any worse.
  10. You can open the receiver and push the ammo out of mag too but cycling is quicker.
  11. X2. Have both. Honestly I usually forget them anyways.
  12. No Facebook here. This is site and hunting beast to a lesser extent are it pretty much.
  13. Most of the mag locks are a pin held in by a screw with epoxy over the screw head. You can assess how hard it is to remove the epoxy and then screw. hint - not very.
  14. Foxbang has caused a few unintended calls to start blasting out when remote taps gun or rest.
  15. By the way, we usually only run 3-4 distress calls before going to yote vocals. And don’t feel limited to what is mentioned above. Fox pro has tons of different calls
  16. Unless focusing solely on yotes, we usually start with distress calls: bay bee cottontail some of the rodent distress calls titmouse tantrum nutty nuthatch platinum gray pup distress then I would throw out yotes pups in distress 1 or 3 if we haven’t seen anything or we get a vocal response, as per LEGs suggestion I have used the following single female long howl (1 or two series) submissive yote female (few minutes) pair of yotes back to pups in distress run the earlier distress calls for 5 min before switching and start with low volume increasing as you go unless it’s windy then crank it from start you can try different calls - what works on one night might not work another and as they get educated, something they haven’t heard much might work like fawn in distress look up Andrew Leland articles for other specific calling sequences. Have fun. Be patient. And sometimes silence for several minutes brings em in.
  17. Installed upside down it locks mag even with receiver open. Won’t comment on how easy it may be to swap from right side up to upside down.
  18. Is the wallpaper on the ceiling Law's handiwork? And I thought he stayed home for a relaxing candle lit bath.
  19. I forgot that. Plus even if you have correct pattern I have read stories of stuff not fitting. I assume LEG has this covered though. My AR10 was a complete gun.
  20. DMPS lower? I assume any 308 lower works.
  21. Secret service is carting @TreeGuy around.
