I thought about the Simmons but there is a Nikon 22 rimfire scope for 150 so ill probably go with that.

Well thought id give an update on this. So I decided to go with a Marlin XT .22 mag because it was priced well and is a great gun. I was also forced to get this one because it came with a 4 rd magazine which is needed to be legal in the five boroughs. Does any one know of any good scopes for the .22? Id be willing to spend up to 150 dollars.

Well if your going to sell it a cabin should increase the price but it may not be worth it. I would bring a camper on it if i was you, although I would never sell any property I buy.

I have no kids and make no assumptions that I know what your going through but I do have something to say. Shes probably going have a boyfriend with or with out your permission. You cant avoid it unfortunately so you might as well save some face and possibly any damaging effects to the relationship between you and your daughter. I would suggest that you have them come over and watch netflix over your house instead of going somewhere, where you have no control over.

I heard they're awesome arrows. Great for penetration since they're heavy and they're smaller then most in diameter.

Living in NYC I have faced this gauntlet too many times too count. Generally those people eat meat and have no rebuttal to the fact that deer have better lives then a lot of beef cows. If a vegetarian, I usually go the conservation route and my Bio professor who is a big hunter did a great job at it. Although you would be surprised who supports hunting. My high School physics teacher is a vegan and would be the first one to help me defend hunting to anti's. Like curm said, the worst argument would be religion as many a turned off by using "god" as an reasoning behind something. Especially since we have a multitude of far superior arguments.

I guess it's a good thing that I didn't have any problems with my mount. I asked for my deer to be scored but that didn't happen, which I didn't care too much about. The one thing I would never do is send a deer to be butchered there. When I dropped my buck off, I saw the piles of deer being dropped off for butchering and I know people aren't getting their meat back. I also wouldn't bring anything other then deer heads to him. I saw his other mounts and wasn't impressed. All in all I have no complaints but then again, I've only had one thing mounted by him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow that really sucks! I used that same taxidermist and have nothing but good things to say! He was a great guy, shook my hand and congratulated me on killing my personal best buck. This was my first year that I was allowed to shoot a deer, so i thought it was nice of him to do that. My mount also came back looking awesome. Sorry to hear about the experience you had.
