  1. I think it's going to come out that he took some tainted supplements for the gym instead of taking it for the curling competition. I just can't see how it would help with curling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Don't think we'll actually see any changes if they do. Remington will still be around if they do file for bankruptcy. A lot of people think they're disappearing for some reason.
  3. Its definitely not the same. I actually talk about this when I run the shot placement section of an event we run, but I've seen these guys shoot amazing groups at 70 yards regularly. I think its more of a subjective thing. Some people poses the ability to shoot 40 plus yards on a deer and I've seen people not be able to put 3 arrows in a plate at 20 yards.
  4. I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. There are many people who can accurately shoot way past 20-30 yards. NFA-ADK comes to mind actually. Ive shot next to him at our Archery club, along with some of the people we know and they can easily shoot 50 yards accurately on a deer. I personally don't shoot over 30 yards, but that because I don't practice out further very often.
  5. Definitely way more difficult generally. My worst falls have come from trying to do tricks while skiing down a double diamond is generally a breeze unless its excessively icy. Although the whole grading system is all subjective to the mountains. Ive seen runs that are a black diamond in one mountain, but no more than a harder green at another mountain. Safe to assume both are equally as hard in an Olympic competition
  6. Never been lost in the woods, but Ive also not really hunted a place where I don't know the property like the back of my hand. The times I have hunted places im unfamiliar with, I never stay too far from where I know. Only time ill go deep in those scenario's is if im walking along a river or something that really stands out. I do plan on getting a GPS for the times I want to explore new places and go deep.
  7. Good luck! I was just researching the odds of getting a permit last night. Hope you get picked this year
  8. I've heard a power washer works well, but I always boiled them. Takes only a couple days of boiling vs a year in the ground.
  9. I hunted there for deer once. I hear it has decent small game, but I hear otis pike has much better small game.
  10. I think I could do it and enjoy it. I think ill stick to living in NY though.
  11. Looking forward to it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Going up to Pulaski for Salmon and Steelhead my usual time. Ill probably going up to Saratoga springs for a couple days and hopefully actually get to do some fishing with grampy this time. Out side of NY Ill be going to Florida for spring break and hopefully Ill be going back to Europe where my family is from. Havent been back since 2015 so im itching to go back.
  13. Well today was my first day of class unfortunately so I only have a few days free during the weekday. May have to move my schedule around so that may change. Ill let you know for next season since ill be graduating in May.
  14. I continue going to class. I guess you can say first thing I do is go place my blind for turkey season and maybe do a little fishing if I have time. Havent fished in April or even May in quite a few years though.
  15. For your sake, I hope they do get full inclusion. I never really supported full inclusion, but I do feel bad for those who cant shoot a vertical bow. We should at least ease up on the medical qualifications for full inclusion. Those who can't draw and accurately shoot bow meeting the minimum reqs should be allowed to use a crossbow in my eyes.
  16. Hard to say really. Its more of a subjective thing. Some are responsible enough at a very young age and there are some adults that I would question how responsible with a firearm they are. I would say that they should be allowed to hunt on their own after their first year hunting. I think a lot of parents let their kids hunt by themselves from the beginning anyway.
  17. Supposedly glyphosphate neutralizes when it hits soil, so it shouldn't have an effect on any fungal and bacterial communities present in the soil. I haven't really done much research on it though, so it may actually effect these communities. I do however know that no-till methods are extremely beneficial to the fungal and bacterial communities, which in turn increase yields by a large amount
  18. Its not that they were going to get sick, its just that while your body is creating the antibodies you are more susceptible to any pathogens you may come into contact afterwards. Now is it possible that they became sick due to the actual virus that was injected...possibly but is incredibly low. The majority become sick because of a compromised immune system.
  19. So did you get your choice at a spot? I really didn't know what i was doing when I went out there as I was new to Bowhunting at the time. I keep telling my self ill get back out, but I'm making it a goal of mine to get a deer on the island next year.
