Honestly I no couldn't care less if they shortened gun season. Only difference it'll make in my life is changing when I take my bow back out after gun season.

Starting about mid week last week, I started getting a lot of buck movement during the day. Had 2 new nice bucks come in, but the bigger buck of the two didn't have a swollen neck. Scrapes were still popping up as well as rubs. Im thinking it should really blow open soon.

Congrats on the deer moog! You know that means you'll have an absolute huge buck walk in front of you now. But anyway the most important thing is you get to enjoy your time in the woods and you happy with your harvest. You have meat in the freezer now, which is always a great thing!

Tried calling yesterday and couldn't raise one deer!

Forgot to say this before but I have a button down. Shot it about 8:10. Only went 60 yards max. After I went to check my cams and i have a pic of probably the best deer I've ever gotten on my cams. Ill be out tomorrow an hour before shooting light. Saw a 4 new scrapes and 7 new rubs last time i was there, so im hoping they liked my mock scrapes right by it.

Does anyone know if you can apply for them online or do you have to go in person for them?

Every time you charge your phone (or any electronical device) the life span of the battery decreases. There are ways to extend it, but it will always be getting worse and worse from the first day you charge it. This is unfortunately the nature of batteries (and life in general if you know a little about the law of entropy)

No kids came to my house either. My neighborhood as a higher average age, so there arent many kids around. I didn't have time to put out any decorations which usually means no one will show up, but i one pumpkin is put out they'll come lol.

Found 7 new rubs and 4 big scrapes with in 40 yards of my stand. Looks like things are really starting to ramp up. Knock on wood, it looks like next Saturday is going to be a high of 52 so im thinking its going to get going then.

I've got no choice but to be out really. Ill be hunting in a shed that they like to move past during the rut. Called in a nice buck from this very spot last year. Ill be out till it gets too heavy to be out

My uncle would do it, but his English isnt the best right now. What do you need to be done though?

I use 2 free knives that i got for subscribing to deer and deer hunting magazine. I only use it for skinning and butchering deer so It doesnt need to be sharpened much. I want to get a good knife around 100 bucks as well, but my sharpening skills arent good at all. I use a worksharp belt grinder to sharpen my knives which does a great job, but it somewhat blunts the tip of it. Maybe when i finally learn to use a stone ill get one. I never split the sternum either. Never had trouble reaching up for the esophagus so the hassle of breaking through it was never necessary for me.
