The other shoe has yet to drop .

That’s a prop that goes with his French Maid outfit .

I’m wondering about this years deer season , what with the price of meat and such . Will hunters , who stopped, start back up ? Will others take it up for the first time ? I’ve taken deer to give away before, will that happen more often as well ?

Im going down shoot my old lady ,

That’s a fabulous price for that ammo !

That and people don’t always remove the whole tick . One also doesn’t know how long it’s been on , just because one finds it after hunting or some other woods activity, doesn’t mean they didn’t get it in their yard the day prior .
-
I spray all my clothes, boots, gear . Take them off outside the house , then shower . I’ve only ever found two attached to me ( one from my yard , one hunting ) and my Dr makes me come right in and starts a round of the meds , prior to any tests . Another reason I seldom Turkey hunt .

Pistol cycled fine . These were plain painful to my hand , and I’m not recoil shy . Many find the LCP ,” snappy “ which I never have ,until firing these , I had to look to make sure they weren’t plus P loads or something . Once I switched to hardball and Ruger APX loads it was like shooting a .22 comparatively.

I bought some golden sabers 380 for my LCP. Now I fired all manor of ammo through that gun for years , these were plain painful to shoot , I never made it through a full mag without a break !

30 yards ?! Since ‘88 I shot one bow deer at 25, the rest were all between 8-15 . I seldom have ever practiced at 30 , no need . Bow season is about hunting skills brush up on them son .

Ya I’ve never got why most guys hang their stands facing trails and general routes they expect the deer to move past , mine are set parallel to my left side .

Although lasik was wonderful and still is, I depended more and more on reading glasses . I’m not sure which model I have , but it’s become difficult to see the front sight . Id go with which ever has the biggest , or add a scope, which won’t be added to mine though .

Very happy we kept our farm land ,the rent has gone up a little , but it just adds another layer of diversity and a hard asset . Oh we can’t do much with the rent money , but it’s still appreciating . My deferred comp is 100% in the general fund, and has been for years, I slowly moved the ratio of stocks / general fund to all general as I moved closer to retirement, even though I have no plans to withdraw any soon . We still hold equites , that are still “ long term “ , not sure if we are though .

Ok after a good part of the evening looking, I finally found my Turkey tags ! Still can’t locate my hunting license, but I got Turkey tags and a back tag , I’m ok with that . I plan on hitting the woods at 9 or so a couple times this week .

A few years ago, some big buyers came through ,at least the Rochester area and bought up a shit load of barn wood ,packed warehouses full and depressed the market considerably . Is there still a market ? Sure it’s popular but prices are down .

Shit son I was doing those 15 years ago I’d use an Olympic bar, I was up to 75 pounds , five reps each arm . Heres an attempt at a come back bare bar a few years ago . To many injuries to continue.
