lots of storms....

O haha got it. Thanks -
Haha I agree fully. At first, I thought America might need to head over to Syria and give them a good slap in the mouth. But that was out of anger by what the media broadcasts and tries to get the American public to believe. And the more it is talked about, the more I think that Putin is right. Not doing anything and letting the security council do what it was made for, could be a world changing motion. I think that Obama disregarding the council will be a slap in the face to the nations that are a part of the group. I'm no expert, just stating my opinion.

Hey grow, I have read a lot of your posts and you mention "Mr.B" quite often. And for some reason it bugs me not knowing who the heck "Mr.B" is! LOL just wondering. It may give me a peace of mind reading you posts next time lol. Thanks. -
Great message really. http://www.nbcnews.com/id/52987873/ns/world_news-the_new_york_times/t/plea-caution-russia/?fb_action_ids=385662451562686&fb_action_types=og.recommends&fb_ref=Stories-addthis-storyheader&fb_source=other_multiline&action_object_map=%7B%22385662451562686%22%3A505807086176651%7D&action_type_map=%7B%22385662451562686%22%3A%22og.recommends%22%7D&action_ref_map=%7B%22385662451562686%22%3A%22Stories-addthis-storyheader%22%7D

No, he looks a little older than the ones you shot last year.

just developed a new PRE-SHOT ROUTINE...CHECK IT OUT!!
Renegade Hunter replied to regulat0r's topic in Bow Hunting
The thing is, I am very confident with my bow. It isn't uncommon for me to smack my arrows together at 20 yards. 30 I am even pretty close. Have been shooting the bow all summer at the 3D bow shoots..... But when the deer start coming in, that heart just pounds away. I love the rush of bow hunting. -
just developed a new PRE-SHOT ROUTINE...CHECK IT OUT!!
Renegade Hunter replied to regulat0r's topic in Bow Hunting
This is a buck my Uncle's buddy killed behind my house this year. I had a chance at him during bow season in wide open hardwoods. I remember the thoughts going through my head..... "Wow that's a big deer... Holy S%$t that's a buck!.... Holy hell... I'm about to shoot a dam Giant...." I was shaking all over and losing my mind. I picked a lane and began to draw back. As soon as I put tension on the string the arrow went flying. I looked down expecting my loop to be busted and found nothing. There he goes. Walking away.... I still don't know if it was nerves and I accidentally hit the release or if my glove got caught on it... Live and Learn I suppose. Maybe I should try your routine to calm the nerves a bit. -
I have an Encore also. Weather shield with the nutmeg stock. Only thing I don't like is how you can't get a matching scope! Still a beautiful weapon. That one looks sweet! good luck with it!

Must See! "ReCreate - taxidermy short film"

That was pretty awesome -
With all those nice bucks you are bound to get a crack at one of them. Good luck!

37 degrees here in 7m this morning. No frost
-
O yea, they will be I'm sure. Just a bad couple of days for some reason. I have a buddy up towards Syracuse that said the same thing.
-
I got out Sunday and Monday. Both were crappy days for geese down here in 7m. First day we had two flocks come in and I knocked down 3. The second day was a complete bust. Rain and thunder storms in the distance. Saw one flock probably 3 miles away lol. Not a good day for the geese.

I have similar markings on the state land that borders my property. Some have been painted for as long as I have lived there. They put fresh paint down during last years hunting season. I have no clue as to what their plans are.

canadian goose hunt long island ny
Renegade Hunter replied to AaronBlaine's topic in Waterfowl Hunting
Going on my first goose hunt as well in the mornin! heard they taste like doo doo but I will eat the hell out of them regardless lol. good luck! -
I have to say, I have been on the grind for the past three weeks but still feel behind. I have had trail cams with no bucks at all but have seen monsters in my field. Last year I had 8 bucks seen on one trail cam location. 4 of them were 8 points or better. I feel less prepared as well but I know they are there. And honestly, I feel great about this season. I think by me not pressuring these high traffic areas by scouting, that I will be able to creep right in on them. Best of luck and I can't wait to see some good bucks down this year. Renegade

Tax, I agree with you fully. I love the chess match as well. However you kill that deer will forever be on your conscience when you tell the story. Kudos.
-
I actually read to marinate them in tomato sauce and fry them up. I think that is what I will try and do first. And I will def eat em if I kill em. If not I know of a few people that would love the meat. Thanks guys.

Thanks deputy

Can anyone else see the picture I posted? It isn't showing up on my screen?

That cut is roughly 5 inches at the impact site. about 2 inches when it hit muscle. And she was huge.
-
This was the result of the rage 2 blade last year. Hit her quartering to me. Broke through collar bone then proceeded all the way though her to the other side. She broke off an inch and a half of my arrow. Went about 55 yards. Fell down and pushed herself along 4 different times.

LOL. So does anyone just kill the things for fun? Like woodchucks? Or I think I may have a couple of buddies who would eat them.
