Wife and I just went to the “Post” at the “Movie Tavern” seats where comfy, the food was overpriced but overall a good show ..

My cams have energizer batteries and are still out and working since August.. I would start fresh when you put them back out and not leave them in..

I found one dead today on my property saw tracks all in the snow and then came upon it,, not much left just feathers and yote tracks very fresh still blood on the snow not sure if it died or the yotes got it..

Looks like my six has made it through hunting season and the cold, should be a nice buck next year, checked my cams today haven’t checked since after Christmas..

Thats the same reason I bought it $30.00 beats a surveyor... It can also end an argument to who actually owns a piece of land you are hunting very quickly..

I voted for Trump thinking he would change things and he did improve in the debates , he is the most unqualified person to ever to be in his position and is making the United States look like a lauging stock it will take many years to recover from this and we have three more to go.. How about my wifes :: Why in the world would anyone get up so early and go out in the pitch dark and sit in a tree in the freezing cold.. As I get older and sit in that tree I sometimes wonder myself,,, but would never admit she may be right “AGAIN”

Learn from last year, put up a couple new stand locations, plant some fruit tress.. Shoot another 2 1/2 or better buck and enjoy another season of being outdoors..

I didnt know that, was just curious.. I figured they where making an educated guess at that point.. I shot an absolute slob of a doe a few years back and wish I had aged her,, it was opening morning and she got pushed out from an adjacent property and ran across the field to the hardwoods I was in,, she ran in about 40 yards and stopped, looked left and right and proceeded through the woods, she knew she did not want to be in that situation.. She was so heavy I had to get a friend to help me get her out and I have dragged other does out of there previously on my own this one proved to be a challenge..

How did they age it at 9 years old ? after 6 1/2 its very difficult to age a deer based on teeth.

Ive been hunting 30 plus years and deer still have behavior and do things that surprise me.. Opening your mind to listen and learn from others is what I believe to be a successful trait that carries over into all aspects of life, I have learned many things from people I would of never expected too..

I live nearby and this deer kill by the town is all fueled by one of the town board members sons getting Lyme disease...

$11,000 plus in fines he could of went on a couple of high fence hunts insted LOL what an idiot ...

Interesting guns for sure but seems like your asking for trouble deer hunting with one but to each their own.. I have had trouble in the past with 3" turkey shells ejecting from my 870 have you experienced any issue with your 1187 ? Just curious as I would never shoot them, I just don't believe they are needed with the current ammo on the market.. JMO

Please enlighten me but I have never shot a 3" slug,,,,I always 2 3/4 " Winchester , Remington then lightfield, now Hornaday,,, what are you shooting ? I only use 3" for turkey ..
