  1. You should get a membership at the niagara county sportsman club ,I think I pay 80 for the year . Archery range ,50 yard plinking range ,300 yard rifle range ,indoor pistol range ,outside pistol range, combat course ,bass pond.
  2. I ordered some jalepeno cheese sausage
  3. Lately I've been paying more attention to how the patterns change depending on the season . I take mental notes about where I saw the deer activity depending on where it falls according to the rut. I made changes to my stand locations based on last year's rut activity ,I've run cameras since May and my findings are turning out to repeat this season. I think I've gone all in on hunting spots that had deer sign before/early season and then come time for the bucks to be on the move ,I'm in the wrong spots.
  4. They sell a wagon that attaches to the back of them ,making hunting even easier .
  5. I have the adaptor that plugs into my phone , I have 2 cards for every camera and usually just quickly swap cards and check when I get out of the woods.
  6. They turkey hunted in central ny and made a comment about hunting where they turkey hunted .
  7. Probably not , they didn't really a "spot" , more so an area . They have gotten more secretive of their locations though . A member of the forum has sent me a few of their actual locations onX from other states that he was able to figure out .
  8. Here's a fun fact, I couldnt label any of those places on a map .
  9. Diamond infinite edge without a doubt . When he's ready to retire it you can sell It for almost the cost it was new.
  10. I wear my binocs on a harness ,I usually don't reach for them til I see something with my eyes first.
  11. You're paying a dry wall guy to finish not hang. Anybody can hang it.
  12. I was charged 80 my last deer and that was for adding cube steaks ,all vac sealed.
  13. Both my MZ barrels are SS . If you plan on shooting Blackhorn, corrosion won't be a concern ,another reason it is so much better then everything else on the market .
  14. That'a kind of what i was getting at in a nut shell , when i decide to do it ,i want to be all in and learn the correct way and have the proper space and equipment.
  15. There was no cars pulled over at the deer check on Rt. 16 sunday afternoon . Usually always has cars pulled in.
  16. I'm sure it not hard but thats like saying anyone who can swing a hammer is a carpenter . I see the jobs that guys on the forum do compared to an actual butcher ,the butcher's cuts look like cuts and the guys that do it home look like giant blocks of generic meat. It's part of the reason I still take mine to a butcher ,the part is not having a dedicated space to do.
  17. On the actual cuts I would bet on it . As far as sausage and hot dogs I would bet no way. I've taken a few deer there and they all get tagged and that tag has a work order number on it . When you bring the tag back they get you a box from the cooler and it always done correctly. Summer sausage and hot dogs just come out of a generic pile of premade sausage or hot dog stash, so that stuff is God knows who's deer or how it was handled before it gets processed.
  18. I have the optima v2 with the konus scope and it's worked fine. Konus makes a decent MZ scope.
  19. The only advertisement is for their bows but it's done in an actual way that it's not being stuffed down our throat. They gives us the bows specs as well as arrow specs which is actually a cool way to do it.
