    A little bit of bad luck is hitting high or low maybe a single lung or liver . Not hitting it in the face . The only excuse you're gonna come up with is hitting a branch ,fair enough , they shot too far for the element they were hunting in then. I don't take hail marry shots and I don't have as many kills as other people ,I also have never shot a deer in the face.

    Those nasal bones seem awful fragile to be using a power washer on . I've heard that people do it though.

    Sounds like we bought the same ones , highly reflective is an understatement! LOL ,if your headlamp gets any light at all on them it looks like a rope full of LED lights.

    I have one on each of my stands , it's really nice to clip on at ground level and not worry about falling to the ground if something should go wrong.

    There is people who would hunt them if they were legal , look at all the "hunters" who go to africa to shoot animals just to look at.

    Maybe just check that it can handle the excess breech pressure so you're not wearing the gun after you shoot it.

    I lifted this picture from the modern muzzleloader site to show how they shorten the flame channel for maximum ignition . That's what makes the BHbreech plug different, if your flame channel is short it will work.

    The Blackhorn breech plug reduces the length of the flame channel ,other guns might be short enough to get a thorough burn.

    I will say that a lighted nock can cause the vanes to do more work, no question about it . The added weight on the back of an arrow can not be overlooked ,even for how little it is.
