I thought they hunted central NY during the turkey tour , they made comments about being in the same spot they turkey hunted. -

You in all day? You locked out ? -
I never saw anything even close to what i witnessed today in 9P . I saw 6 different bucks ,5 of them where pushing doe . Only one buck i had previous pictures of before gun started .

Probably the only time I'll be able to post in this thread .

That's a pretty good stretch between cameras .

Don't get hung up on the cutting diameter . If you're shooting a lower poundage bow then you should be shooting a smaller diameter broadhead . I have a feeling that many people who dislike them are because they were either using them wrong or made a bad shot.

The Q safe safety strap is the cats ass for climber hunting.

I realize you said you were new to hunting . This is a perfect learning experience to have a spot picked out well in advance of the opener .
-
What is the typical distance you can safely get between cameras and still have everything work properly?
-
Mine would just take picture nonstop as soon as you turned it on.

One of the neighbors would be my guess.

I have a Montana 680t , it does way more stuff then my brain can comprehend. It has the ability to overlay a satelite image of specific areas. The topo map is way more detailed then onX which is my go to GPS on the phone. It has a 3d view in topo which really helps read the terrain if in a hilly area.

I had one of the originals from Phade and it was great, no apps or other B'S. Just stick the card in and program the number you want it to text pictures too. It was like Xmas morning everytime I got a text message from "trail camera"

I'm not as much interested in WHAT is out there as much as WHERE they are. My time in the woods is limited so it's nice to have cameras on the possible areas and see what part of the property they are currently using.

Does anyone know if any other cameras have the internal hard drive like the cuddeback? I never thought it would be a selling point for me ,after a couple years of being able to snag the card with no replacement card handy is huge .

Would you be willing to share the GPS track with us ? Obviously you can black out the coordinates, I really just wanna see the topography map and see the route the buck took . -
Great catch ! I recently saw a slightly different version of that picture...

Same at our spot , they rarely do the same thing thing from year to year except early season doe movement is usually the same . I think i've just gotten better at finding their route faster .
