I'll post up a picture tomorrow, it is a trick set up,the guy I bought the stand from put it on there.

We had about 20 kids ,one of them had a full blown mustache!

I know this is about back pack straps but i really wanted to share a kick butt tip for a climber . Get some of the friction type hold downs (not ratchet straps) mount the strap to the bottom portion and a friction device out towards the front of the bottom portion also . After using the stand ,you put the 2 half together and wrap the strap around the top and bottom pieces securing them together and lastly through the friction lock and pull it tight ,it really holds the top and bottom together really tight. Then you can mount a set of friction devices on the upper portion for when you are about to climb ,you feed the strap into the top friction devises and it will serve as the line to tether the top and bottom together for safety. I have no idea if any of that makes sense ,i should have just went in the garage and took pictures of mine.

Not much , a few rounds to make sure it's still good . I don't hunt anywhere with long distance shots either so no real reason to shoot a bunch of rounds after determining it's still good.

I have access to a chrono ,my current set up is no speed demon . For me personally, I would keep adding weight to an arrow until I got down around 260. I like a heavy arrow

I'll be in the stand, still waiting to see some activity . The woods is still the best place to be.

Mine would be ,stuff outside of my control changing the way the deer react where I'm hunting . To word it differently, me being too stupid to hunt deer successfully. This season has been a real eye opener.

For me ,it would eliminate the reason i'm so addicted to archery . It's like taking an AR with a scope to the rifle range and acting like you're some top notch shooter because all the holes touch at 100 yards.

You can add stone before you put down the paver.

I just added life lines to all my stands , never a time being unhooked that way.

This season sucks for the guys that only get out on the weekends (me) It's either super hot or now rain and wind.

Good luck this year ,i hope all your hard work pays off . I'd be worried about being in the open like that , as long as you stay on point and dont move around a lot ,you could probably pull it off.

I bought a bunch this year ,i switched to a rock climbing harness and bought a shock rated lanyard , I really like being tied off from the ground up. For my climber I just use my tree mount from my gorilla harness and slid it up as I go.

Iight rain now ,I'm staying out til dark unless it pours out.
