    I let my dad have the good spot in the pines ,I hope he gets something,I'm sitting in my blown out treestand ,not expecting much today.

    What happens when this guy comes across you at the local gas station or bar and you're not hiding behind your gun anymore? This can go bad in so many ways.

    Why would you not walk up to him face to face and kick him out ? I don't see the reason to use the gun as a warning device.

    Leaving after work today for the weekend , I have no idea where to hunt anymore ,all the spots we have set up have been a bust most of the season.

    I had one walk under my treestand during archery season,it was too dark to really see it ,only the black outline ,I was shocked how big they are up close.

    My next treestand will be a timber tall , hard to be a 12 pound climber that adjusts with a knob once in place.

    Is there any low areas/ditch/creek you can incorporate in to the bedding area ,like a travel route for them?

    Are you guys using the BH209 using a shot primer instead of the weaker ML primers?

    I think luck has a lot to do with it unless you own so many acres that the neighbors don't upset the typical pattern , I think setting yourself up for the best opportunity and putting in the hours in the woods will increase your chances dramatically.

    Jeez, I can't believe people take shots at deer that can't clearly see .

    I boil ,I add ten mule team borax to the water , remove every hour to scrape any hanging meat ,doesn't mater if the antlers touch the boiling water . Once the meat is all boiled off (careful towards the end so you don't lose and nasal bones or teeth,they come loose) I use that peroxide that the hair dressers use,it comes in a paste and can be easily applied with a paint brush ,i let that sit over night . I finish with a soft bristle brush and some oxy clean.

    Anybody hearing or seeing anything about the monster taken in Barker? I have a picture here with a young man posing with an absolute monster . I would have to remove his face from the picture if I post it up.

    Who could honestly hunt with a gun ever again if you accidently shot someone? I don't think I could ,I'm not even sure I could sit in a treestand with a bow .

    Ahhhhh, I don't know man, if i had my wife in a ground blind with a sleeping bag ... I mean seriously ,im only human.
