I don't know if I'll do it but I'm thinking about a new bow. No rush, maybe this winter. I'm very happy with my 2012 Elite Answer but would consider another brand. What brand & where? (local dealer or off a site like AT or Bowsite) If I did buy off the web, I do know a local guy that does amazing tuning, actually a member here.

Most of my neighbors did the same thing, I was kind of disappointed. 10-15 years ago when my kids were of age it was quite a good time. Most all neighbors participated and some really did it up big. Did Archer go out?

The last two Sunday’s I’ve seen a coyote in broad daylight in the same open field. Rare to see that......

I should add that I don’t hunt field edges, just the woods. All those deer have been within 75 yards due to foliage. No shooter bucks for me either.

It's amazing that any deer exist at all in WNY with all the coyotes..........

I'm up to 13.5 hours total on stand.....per my NYS bowhunter sighting survey. 5 buck, 8 doe and 10 fawn. Unknown I didn't add up. (maybe 8-10?)

I'm tired of checking the weather! Between the phone apps and just sticking my head out the door, it's RAINING! Since Saturday was a wash out, I rolled the dice and came down early Sunday morning then I called my boss and said I'd swap my Tuesday day off for Monday. Here I sit at camp pulling my pud......... (not really, I'm drinking coffee and cruising the web) I've already made a list of jobs to do here that I can get done before I head home; jobs that easily get put on the back burner when it's time to hunt. One of those jobs is to assemble the ladder stand I bought 4 or 5 years ago and start thinking where to put it. I doubt it'll get put up today but getting the stand screwed together is a start...... Maybe we can get the mods to lock this thread up as sunny days are coming!
