Ms. Paula........Give us some random dates, departing airport, destination airport, how many adults etc and lets see what we can come up with. The winner gets a "HuntingNY.com" sticker, from me. I have a stash.............

Heck I'm thinking there's gonna be a whale of a cage match this fall!
-
Where I stashed it, of course!

Ha! I had a GREAT spot to hang a trail camera that I found last year. For the life of me I couldn't find that "one" tree when I put my cams out a month ago. Pizz me off....................

I would have enjoyed meeting you Elmo. Next time you pull a move like that, I'm going to be really torqued............ I've never done the Maid Of The Mist.......only the Jet Boats. The Jet Boats are NOT to be taken lightly, they'll rock you like you've never been rocked. Trust me! Watkins Glen is tremendous. What a beautiful thing to see, I like it much more than the Falls.

Damn..........I had a new boat cover made and was going to get it tonight. I had just enough cash stashed in a hiding place and couldn't find it when I looked for it. I typically don't handle much cash but had some set aside for this deal. Well, I had to scarf some from my wife then head to the bank for the remainder. Went and picked up the boat and paid my bill but my gut has been all twisted up for the last few hours, thinking I spent the money or it was lost in some dumb azz hiding spot, never to be found again. I found it a few minutes ago.............I'm not loosing my mind yet. Oh yea, the cover looks to be just fine!

I use Sweet's too. I find that a LOOSE fitting patch works better to soak down the barrel for the initial run of the stuff. Then I'll go with a bit tighter fitting patches as I go. The last couple inches of the barrel seem to be the toughest to get out all the copper. Sometimes I just leave the patch on the jag right at the end of the barrel for ten minutes, then scrub a dub dub away. Montana X Treme has worked good also.

I do the same. Probably a better way to do it but I don't travel much (enough!!). Curious to see where this goes...................................

I'd be curious to know just him many members even have a "hunting dog" and if it's even used for hunting. There doesn't seem to be much posted about bird hunting; maybe guys are chasing rabbits, coon, coyote and fox more than birds? -
Big Snapper (not that kind Pygmy) eats a duck
Lawdwaz replied to moog5050's topic in Hunting Related Pictures
Without me dialing up Google and in the name of enlightening the masses and keeping moog's thread rockin'...........how old can these monsters get? -
Pizza (picked up by me) and sowed down in minutes after arriving home after work........chased with a Bud Light. This wasn't the planned meal though. We had some venison sausages thawed, black beans and rice (left over from last night) and broccoli lined up but the heat and crazy day put me in the "no cooking" mood. We'll eat that stuff tomorrow night...........

Probably 15 years ago I saw a snapper turtle while duck hunting. It was in the spillway of this huge pond and was barely moving, at first I didn't know what it was but as I looked closer I saw it was a snapping turtle. No kidding-the thing was as big or bigger than a man hole cover............... -

My friend killed a hard horned 8pt around 1987-1988. We called the DEC and they sent a field biologist to take some notes. IIRC there was a story and picture in the Conservationist.

Hey, Happy Birthday Paula! What's the plan for the day; motorcycle riding?? Have a great day..............

Don't crap on my thread.

Thanks for the offer but it's going to be a busy day today and I won't be able to meet you, too much packed into the day. Why are you coming into Depew??

Thinking of a trip to see Whiteface and other spots in the Adirondaks. Any members here live in the general area that might have some insight on where to stay or NOT to stay. If we go it'll be without much notice like maybe just a couple weeks. I know places fill up fast this time of year. Roll 'in the dice........
