I bet (hope) they found that horn problem when they put it through the NYSI as that is a necessity.

I don't know how much we have received since last night but it has to help! Yesterday we traveled up to Waterport and I couldn't believe the brown lawns and parched fields. Gotta be some happy farmers today! On the other hand............cold and rain doesn't bode well for poults and fawns. Hard to please everyone.

Hire a hack of a tree cutter (the one with the poor judging skills) to take down a BIG tree in the yard?
-
Painfully obvious, yes. Phony..............
-
You're a good egg growie, I had no doubt you'd do the right thing. Cars suck.
-
Thought you were giving them a break?
-
What kind of glove is that?
-
Agree with doc, I'd trip that car so fast it'd make your head spin but then of course is the moral dilemma...........would you/could you trade that with a clear conscience?? Knowing there is a problem with possible dire consequences to not only the future owner but other people on the road??????

Sounds like a heck of a plan Grampy. Have a great time tonight and Happy Birthday!

PS LH means Limb Hangers.

+1 on the Spurs. On my phone I can enlarge the pic and they look like LH type Spurs. Maybe 1.25" or better I bet.

We are changing the name of OUR Squaw Island. Seems people have taken offense to it.................................... http://wivb.com/2015/05/26/controversial-name-of-squaw-island-could-change-soon/

Come on man.......you make that your FIRST post and don't give details? Start talking Mr. Morrison!!

The farmers need rain terribly. Your garden, my garden and the jimoake down the streets garden will be fine. Food plots are even lower on the list, IMO. I spent about three hours this morning helping rake & seed a lawn for my boss at our new building. The birds are going to have some good eating until the rain comes.

Freaking awesome John, what a rush that'd be!!

Slick trick is now owned by the same company as Elite Archery. The 100 grain standards and magnums are now priced at $39.95/4 heads at Cabela's. They used to be 3/$29.95 New packaging too theses days.

Rifles in 2015 for Genesee County?
Lawdwaz replied to NYBuckHunter27's topic in Rifle and Gun Hunting
Come on baby..........................................woot! Getting closer to fruition. Sell those damned punkin' ball slingers NOW! -
I was just talking to Gary Huber yesterday at Cabela's (he works there) about Slick Tricks. He and I both shoot them and have had tons of success between us. They fly straight as a proverbial arrow. Not sure on the exact total of deer that I've killed with Slick Tricks but I'd guess 15 or so. Lost a couple too but you sure as shiit can't blame the broadhead. That'd be operator error!!

I'd like to like this but you wouldn't like that, would you? OK, I'll like it anyway.............
-
I've only done a couple on my Remington 700's so surely can't comment on a 'Bee but I bet a Youtube video or two and a call to Timney would get you in the game. If not, a competent 'smith would be happy to do it for you, for a price . Good luck and good choice!

This will be THE stupidest questions you will hear all day..................have you asked permission to hunt that neighboring land? If not, why? Spring gobbler hunting is (IMO) the most difficult segments of hunting you'll find east of the Mississippi, bar none. Nothing is more humbling than a spring gobbler hunt and nothing as more gratifying than a good spring gobbler kill. If it was easy, why would we do it ? Keep the faith.....it'll happen again. Don't give up, hard work will reap results in time.

Snakes are near (AT) the top of the list of things I despise. Ignorance I'm sure on my part but they really freak me out................. One time I was with a buddy on Canadice Lake, fishing in our old Lyman boat his father gave us when a spotted adder (could have been a black mamba for all we knew ) dropped into the boat from a limb while we were trying to free a Swedish Pimple from a branch after a errant cast. Man what a Chinese fire drill THAT that turned into. A wooden hull boat does not respond well when you beat on it with paddles as you chase a snake around. 15 year old boys ain't the sharpest tool in the shed ya know............. Scarred me for life.......................................honest.

Neither have I officially...........one time we ended up on Niagara Falls Blvd near the airshow up there by mistake. Those planes were cool! I'd like to do one someday. The Geneseo show looks very cool but for some reason we can never make it happen........
