The reservation is made for the Questa Lasagna. Thank you ALL for the input, I'll report back with a review. My buddy Tom Daly (Thomas Aquinas Daly) and his family are having an art show in Perry at the Wyoming County Center For Arts and it opens tomorrow night. If you have a taste for FINE art, take a look. http://www.artswyco.org/index2.php?page=gallery

Rifles in 2015 for Genesee County?
Lawdwaz replied to NYBuckHunter27's topic in Rifle and Gun Hunting
Capable of what? I'd be happy to head to the range with my CF rifle and shoot against anybody with their rifled slug gun for beers at 200 yards. Takers? -
Fugg that, it's a Python. Kill it.....................

WTB an Anvil in the 100-165# range.
Lawdwaz replied to Culvercreek hunt club's topic in Non Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
Hmm.......I'll make another call Bob. Enough time has passed, maybe my buddies wife has had second thoughts. -
Don't need to look it up, been there lots of times back in the late 80's and 90's. We will be in Perry and thought about doing one of the other two mentioned. Thanks though.

Looks like we need a darned tie breaker. One vote for each one huh?

I've caught a couple hood rats over the past 5 years in our neighborhood. Both were charged with crimes; one was ONLY stealing a bike but the other was going to break in to the house across the street. Both are long stories but the Readers Digest version of the second one is that he had already done a few other daylight robberies in the past until I caught him casing my neighbors. I confronted him in a ugly way and before I turned him loose (I couldn't prove anything at that point) I snapped his picture with my old flip phone camera. That pizzed him off....... I reported it right away and the police were very interested in talking to me in person and about passed out when I showed them the picture! It took 6 weeks but they did catch the punk and he admitted to all the break ins and that he was going to rob my neighbor's house until I (I wasn't alone, I had Smith & Wesson along) confronted him. POS punks........

Closest thing I'm getting for 2015 as far as "special permits" is going to be a Handicapped Parking Permit.

For those that do use a red dot or scope, have you ever had an issue with range judgment with an approaching bird? I could see having a problem if you spent too much time looking through your sight and not paying attention to the distance? Things can get pretty nerve wracking in the final moments and I could see messing a shot if I concentrated to hard on the sight picture. Just a random thought on a early spring rainy night. Seems open sights would (and have for me) help to NOT pooch the shot.

Dayum it is coming down hard again now.

Nice haul Dan! Any word on Honeoye??

All in less than 24 hours! 66 degrees in the house right now and I bet by midnight the furnace will kick on. Man O man what a change, huh?

Once again, Pygmy hits it on the head as far as I'm concerned. I've also killed on the second shot and even on the third, one time. Missed enough with the first shot too and I don't think a red dot, green dot or a camo dot would have helped a bit. Like sooo much in any sport/hobby or even life if your head isn't in the game you're going to bungle it up. Keep your eye on the ball and bingo, YOU win!! Mid bead and front fiber optic "bead" are the thing for me these days.

Ha, wow what a bruiser!! Maybe the OP can give us the background on it??
