What is it that makes that deer look old to you guys? And, how old is old?

Have they finally disproved the old theory that black walnuts were............oh heck, never mind. I'm sure it is an old wives tale anyway. I bet they were good!!

It sure does look bleak at this point. Maybe the abundant mast crop and all the apples can help?? Heck they sure should have packed on some fat this fall..........I hope.

All I can say about this is that I have carried mine hundreds of miles across Wyoming, Ontario and Livingston Counties and never, yes never had it come out of "battery" in 13 years of pretty serious spring turkey hunting, probably 5 years of goose hunting the early season and a little duck hunting each October. I'm a lefty shooting a RH Benelli and walk with it slung over my left shoulder. I can guarantee that the bolt lever has banged against my vest and box call pouch a zillion times and never had a problem at all . I have had the cartridge drop lever release a loaded round onto the carrier prematurely but Benelli's are designed to deal with that no issue.

I'll tell you what, Wegman's donuts are WAY better than Timmy Ho's.............. Sadly, I bought six. Two didn't survive the harrowing trip and the remainder were inhaled by kids & wife. One WAS earmarked for you, I promise.

I saw some video on ch 2 at noon of the ice in the river, really really bad deal that could become tragic. Right now in Amherst it is terrible..............

The thing you have to do is look at the radar. Lake effect bands will kill you............. We had very little blowing snow or falling snow when we left here. We headed east to Youngs Rd, I had to grab something from my van that is parked in a heated garage and then went south to Wegmans in Depew. It was a HORRID ride. White outs from the wind and very heavy snow. We were in the store for 10 minutes then a damned nasty ride home. As soon as we hit Wherle Drive it was a piece-O-cake, Wegmans front door looking out..... That was about 10:15am Right now it is getting real bad here in Amherst. You do not want to head out right now, trust me.

13 years I've had my SBE and not a single burp, fart or jam. I can strip it down to nothing in about 30 seconds. Try THAT with any other gun listed.

Heck of a price on this.........I just checked the prices on GunsInternational.com and $500 is a great deal. Granted those are the asking prices on GI but it's a good reference. Good luck with sale.......

They have issued the FIRST blizzard warning in 21 years for us here in Buffalo..........Erie, Genesee and Niagara Counties until 6am (I think) Wednesday. HOLY KIELBASA!!!!!!! I'm going to do a little storm cruising tonight.................LOL I used to LOVE this stuff, not so much anymore. I have a pretty quiet day tomorrow; a pile of paper work needs attention so it'll get done. Maybe a couple estimates, maybe not.

Sure, either gun will "work" but what bullets in the .308? .22mag will get the job done but less margin of error. If what ultramag said is true, (and I don't doubt it but I don't know either) then for sure I'd hang the camera's and keep an eye on the birthing grounds.....
