  1. exactly. The world was a very different place and why the left uses their stupid muzzleloader argument all the time, although the 2nd amendment is more about allowing the people to overthrow a tyrant government than it is defending myself against a bad guy. If they thought the world would become a place where you weren't allowed to fish and hunt for your food, I'm sure they'd have put it in there. Health care too if we're being honest. oh and check out the left (NY of course) trying to restrict muzzleloaders anyhow... because you know... mass shootings http://dailycaller.com/2017/11/16/literally-know-nothing-tucker-takes-on-dem-over-banning-muzzle-loaders-video/
  2. very successful program in oxford ms where i lived for a few years. need land owners permission, body bags and pass an accuracy skill test, shoot 3 doe first, do something stupid and lose your slot etc. Did a great job of controlling the urban sprawl areas.
  3. but what about the Coriolis effect and stuff. I watched both seasons of shooter so i know stuff.
  4. idk... seems like maybe food plots are included.
  5. 5 years from my initial date. 11/27/13.
  6. I bet they never felt that they had to include it. It was a basic part of life back then to even consider the government taking away someone's right to feed their family seemed laughable.
  7. read their stance on some topics before your join anything. I used to be a NYB member until i learned they're basically against allowing elderly and disabled the right as well. I wasn't going to contribute to that even though they've done good elsewhere. There are some agenda's the NYCC is pushing that I'm not sure all full inclusion supporters would be on board for. Not pushing you away or towards, just saying you should do your research.
  8. hmm now you know. makes sense with regards to vehicle accidents. Certainty not one I've heard before though.
  9. like i said before it's about proving your manhood to your hillbilly friends. I'm such a good hunter, blah, blah, blah
  10. i was thinking paper too, but by the time november rolls around for me it wont be a shit show like it is now. And the "fear" of them not receiving and/or processing it, (certified or not) is one that I'm not sure I want to take.
  11. They better change their business model because I never really liked much about gander other than available odd stuff I couldn’t get at dicks and needed on short notice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. This has defiantly brought back some good memories. Wasn’t there long but enjoyed the area when I was. We were the hicks who found a deep spot in that creek where we could swim in haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. That’s funny I have an old commercial Hobart slicer too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The point isn’t about hunting them, it’s that they are the deer that make the dec drive up permit numbers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Lol what? You’re on one today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I think you tried to jab me and that’s cool I have thick skin, but that didn’t make any sense. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Got my letter last week. Will wait till November-ish when I near the 5 years to do it. As I understand that’s how it works? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. social media is one of the best ways to catch poachers these days. I mean, why kill 3 big bucks if you can't compensate for your small dick by posting them online?
  19. and i still will wave the flag that access is the problem. where i see deer running rampant are the burbs and parks, not the country. And yet, we continue to see pressure and stories from peta and others that don't want any scary bowhunters near their park or home. So yeah they can keep pushing dmp's up in huntable areas and it wont do anything but create less opportunities on that land. I do not disagree that bowhunters tend to pass doe early and I dont have an issue with that. Many of those same bowhunters will take a few with a gun. What season doesn't seem to matter to me as long as they're down. If you really wanted you could extend the season into january for doe only, but i then worry about early drops being shot.
  20. i have yet to try sausage but some good tips. putting more money into a sausage stuffer certainly wasn't in the plans so will see how it turns out. Still want a better dehydrater and slicer. i'll be a regular butcher shop soon lol.
  21. and many of these other states have a gun season 2 or less weeks long.
  22. we're assuming just a gun so fish are out. and your point about calories in is well put. rabbit hunting without a dog and a .22 instead of a scatter gun is a lot of work.
  23. here's one. you're cleaning out your basement and find an old 30 rd mag. Do you call the police to have them confiscate it?
  24. that is good to hear. Tell them Kelly and Brandon their former neighbors on the left facing the creek say hi. we had no kids at the time and now have 3 boys haha.
  25. what are you guys eating in the woods for 30 days besides squirrels?
