  1. Profile says Virginia. In Ny some use scents to get them to come in if they know they are in the area, don't know about your state though.
  2. We have the Cabela's CC and are part of the rewards program and get them all the time, no way I can use them all or I would be broke.
  3. Looks like a fat bear to me. What area of the Catskills? I hunt in Leeds.
  4. I live the next county over and frequent that area, plenty of deer especially near the river. Pretty good deer numbers but low permits as I recall. If you want to know about a specific area pm an address or post the area on here and I would be happy to let you know what I know. I did see a dandy buck on the road to Stillwater on the Washington county side of the river this summer and many many deer from home in Northumberland to the Buskill area.
  5. You know when might have perhas be relevant? Before the last election!!
  6. I'm sorry you don't understand humor, perhaps I should put lol or a smiley face at the end for you.
  7. Perhaps he should offer Romney 5 mil to release his tax records for the last ten years...another thing that aint gonna happen.
  8. I think maybe Trump should use the money to buy a wig and pay off his debts from failed business's he has had. Oh wait his dumb tv show is starting and he wants attention.
  9. Could have been a Government vehicle too grow.
  10. Start a separate cop bashing thread if you want to start stupid crap shawnhu. Grow just made an observation, no need to turn it into a bash fest.
  11. The difference is spine, one has a stiffer spine than the other, plus weight obviously. The stiffer spine would allow you to shoot a heavier broad head. Stiffer and heavier are alomost always better in hunting situations provided it is ok to use in your set up.
  12. I drive 1.5 to 2 hours to hunt every time I want to go and no camp to stay in either and live "upstate". Sure I could go around home but its better where I go than it is at home.
  13. Try Stoeger then, cheap gun but might fit your needs. Other wise you are SOL unless you increase your price range. A good one can be found for $700-$1000
  14. I wish mine was pro-bono.. I am so screwed, he has two kids going to college soon. lol
  15. Sounds strange to me, why couldn't she just save money until she can pay for it all?
  16. I am picturing Snoopy as the Red Baron...just saying. lol
  17. Well geeze I guess you won't be the one I ask to shot me then..lol
  18. Thats funny mxsmitz, while doing my leaves Saturday night I found a fresh track in my yard, I think they might be hitting the shrubs and maybe the bird feeder too. I better watch out, I'll get thrown in the clink! lol Maybe I should by a game camera and put it on the bird feeder.
  19. Yes I would check, the warranty was the deciding factor in choosing which brand to get.
  20. Congrats! and how did the hand loads perform?
  21. So last year I got a pair of Bogs rubber boots (Blaze M), they claimed to have a lifetime warranty so I bit and went for them. Not only have they been excellent to wear, and trust me I put the miles on, but the service is second to none. I found a leak at the seam while in Maine and finally called today, with in about 2 minutes the lady had me set up with a new pair after asking a couple of questions and filling out a questionaire. The best part is she told me I can keep the old pair and recomended a product to fix the leaks too! It is refreshing to get good customer service in this day and age, just thought I would pass it along to my fellow hunters. If you want a life time of free boots, get a pair of Bogs!
  22. WELL DONE!!!! shame on you for ruining good meat that way..lol
  23. Dave its an ongoing joke that Steve and I hunt Burts place when he isn't there, with out permission..lol
