  1. Left Handed Bare bow, 2009 Parker Wildfire XP. 29 inch draw, 60-70 pound draw. $100
  2. PS I was out for youth Duck with my son and never seen nor heard another hunter. We only saw two other youth hunters during the Pheasant weekend. It seems there are not a great deal of youths being mentored.
  3. It depends on what zone you were in, I think Dan is near Albany so that would be Regular Duck season. Youth Duck was three weekends ago here. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/28888.html
  4. Yes exactly. That's his pic with the magic yellow corn shaped fertilizer.
  5. Are those the same pellets in front of the log in this pic too?
  6. I noticed it in the last set of pics too, just curious is all.
  7. I gotta ask, what is on the ground there? Looks kinda like corn sprinkled about.
  8. Well we had a great day in the woods! After waking way to far we found birds nearer to the truck. We ended the day with 6 Pheasants pointed and flushed, two missed by Nate and one by a girl we met there with her dad. Lucic also pointed a Woodcock and a Rabitt, both of which held tight until I flushed them. My phone says I walked 5 miles today and I would have to agree with that. I choose to to go to Margret Burke WMA, pretty good bird hunting set up the DEC has done there. I was impressed for a change. Now it's fire time after a damn good day.
  9. I do have a few roosters I need to get rid of. Hehe
  10. Honestly I shoot so much and have shot so much I don't even think about it. Just like wing shooting, it's natural I guess.
  11. I was lucky enough to see the family unit of Fisher a few weeks ago while checking my cams. We saw three youngins and the mom and have had them on cam in one form or another every week. I enjoy watching, hopefully they don't eat all the Turkeys and Grouse. IMG_0501.AVI
  12. I'm cutting myself off from any further tuning for the year. My wife loves it when I spend hours and hours tuning. NOT!!!
  13. How about Ladder rails for tree stands and safety harness's.
  14. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/9349.html I am sure there is a site near you, I actually don't hunt Pheasant release sites because I know there are plenty of "Bill's" out there. I leave them for the less experienced to have fun with while I chase Grouse, Woodcock and all the other small game. If I am lucky I will find another youth to help out while I am there Saturday.
  15. Is anyone heading out for the youth Pheasant Hunt this weekend? I'll be out with my son, we hit up the Duck weekend last week. We had fun and he sunk one in a marsh never to be seen again.
  16. I hunt early season bare. It gives me the primal edge I need.
  17. For the record, I use a Fanny pack and a Orange LLBean back pack and it holds all of my make up and tampons. I leave the different boots and camo's in the truck in case I find a tree that I don't match. Matching is essential you know. Now if anyone makes fun of me I will give them such a pinch!
  18. Yes, yes it was. I worked with a really Italian guy and I asked him that and he really had them, funny scene. lol
  19. What is going on with this forum, you guys are talking about purses essentially and this sounds like a girl way too much. "Oooo I like! Now the question is black or green? I am thinking green it won't contrast the tree as much. That looks so much nicer for archery season than my back pack." What do you guys put in your purses, make up? You do don't you, only its called "face paint". lol
  20. That happens all too often, thermocouples are usually about a $6 part.
  21. Moog, How big are the Cement Lions at the end of your driveway. I have to know.
