the brakes are top notch.

barrel diameter is a bit bigger than the BBs. it's been years but i forget there's a method to it and usually one gun better than the others just by chance. the carny knows which one it is if that's their usual game. we took cattle to the fairs in my youth so we lived at the fairs all week. figured out practically all the games. carnies hated us.

Had a smoked ham steak with roasted garlic and Italian seasoned taters and some sweet corn. No plate pic. Trying desperately to empty the freezer prior to this fall but it's full of pig, deer, and turkey. Still working through vac packed garden veggies from last summer too. Garden starting to produce now too. Horrible problem to have I know. I buried a rubbermaid tote with some of the thick cut smoked bacon at the bottom as a constellation prize. lol Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Hoppy Wheat Ale after mowing beer before I fired up the grill for dinner. Then switched to voodoo ranger. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Couldn't find some I was looking for tonight. Passed on kbs. Just not a coffee person. Ended up with some eviltwin lost souls from the fridge. Has a hoppy base that brings tropical fruit (lime, mango, and otherz) to the front. You're left with hoppiness and carbonation. Not big on carbonated bevs so maybe if left in the fridge it'll tone it down a little. Otherwise it was good. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I have two in my fridge. Don't know where they came from. Kind of wrote them off until now. Might as well try them. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Hopefully this weekend I'll be getting them back out. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

too busy so no 3D this summer. will probably make it to a few. when i haven't shot in a while i focus on just executing a good shot and building muscles back up. point of impact might be off but that's me not the bow. as i shoot and build my shooting muscles back up it'll shift a tiny bit. then you worry about stacking arrows. close toward the season it's your mind that'd make or break your shooting. so many shoot multiple arrows at a time. only thing that's doing is proving you can convince yourself your going to make a better shot after you've maybe missed the deer. lol

Anti Bacteria Products, Attractants & Cover Scents
dbHunterNY replied to landtracdeerhunter's topic in General Chit Chat
i believe in scent reduction not scent elimination. i've used everything and deer can still smell you. i practice scent control by planning access to stands, hunting with wind direction and thermals in mind, and also not touching everything where i am. if i'm already taking a shower and washing clothes why not use better stuff for the job? i've stuck to HS green shampoo and body wash. for clothing i've been using dead down wind detergent that's carbon clothing compatible. i also use dead down wind field spray. i've got an ozone-go for the truck. -
My wife liked the sour and she likes shanties. She's a stout lover though. She wouldn't hesitate drinking an ale or lager either. I don't think I've ever seen her drink a wine cooler or zima. Wasn't really a beer review but stating how they fell with my subjective preference. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Monday night went out to Browns Taproom in Troy. Wife got the Beacon sour and liked it. Sours aren't really my thing but good for what it was. Lemon was the theme. Got the flight and tried some I haven't had ever or in a while. Checks next to ones on the menu. Hat wobble ipa was hands down the best. Krush lager was 2nd best and comes in cans. Coast to coast ipa good too but not as good as hat wobble. Available in cans though. Brown and amber ales hold their own a bit. The pils was just that and kinda boring. In honor of brewer that isn't here with us this year. I have oatmeal stout in the fridge and also had the pale ale that night which was good. Have had the such taste ups and passion fruit melon combo wasn't doing it for me. Cherry raz has a following but it's like drinking beer thru a fruit roll up. No thanks. Other location wasn't open that night but have or had "peach fuzz" on tap that I really wanted to try. That's it for now besides what's in the fridge. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

bow string wax works well and for some i don't intend on removing i use blue loc-tite. never ever use red loc-tite.

this thread blows my mind. i grew up on the family farm taking out pigeons. first a lever action BB gun then a cheap pellet gun, both of which they really weren't much afraid of. then dad upgraded me to a Mossberg model 500 20ga and the walmart monster boxes of general purpose shotshells. i couldn't tell you how many pigeons i took with that thing and we weren't even a dairy farm. they just crapped in all the hay and on all the equipment like crazy. never occured to me or anyone i knew that you should eat them. they were fast but not fast enough. might be a good explaination of why i shoot that gun so well. cheapest gun in the safe but my go to for shooting clay pigeons at backwoods parties.

i didn't mean trajectory and accuracy when i typed "...it means nothing". i was more getting at it was a better option aiming through it than pointing it out the window off to the side like he tried. also any hell he'd catch from shooting out his own windshield is worth the outcome. he got close and might have been able to spot his impacts to some degree.

defense and duty ammo totally different. I've got +p+ 150gr that's jacketed hollow point for 9mm. i'm told its standard issue FBI stuff but i have no way of confirming that. defense stuff seems to always be pretty close to if not frangible.

way more than 7. i think i counted 15 which would make it a 40 cal assuming he racked the first round from the mag before heading out for duty. edit: watched it once again. counted 5, 6, and 7 shot strings. so 18? verdict still the same. bad guys had mags loaded up and he needed more than 7 to stop them.

i have a small set of chisel plows for a compact tractor that i use for food plots. it works the same way except i use down pressure or lift on the 3 point hitch to adjust depth.
-
they work great. we've had them on the farm forever. they don't get much use in the fields because we use bigger heavier stuff to break up the sod. for a food plot and your kind of work it'll be perfect. you want to go fast enough with constant throttle to keep the atv belt tight and with gear shift atvs the idea is to not make the clutch constantly engaging. you think it's heavy enough now but depending on the ground you might want to add a few CMU blocks on it. some can make it work others have to add a frame of metal or wood to hold/attach them. it will get clogged. don't pull it all out by hand. use the lever to lift the tines, drive away to clear it out, and then lower them back down.
