I don't wander much from my cheap and tasteless beer, but these have been incorrectly marked at a local gas station for .99 cents a can, and I like them!
-
Found my first morels today. Have always looked for them while turkey hunting with no success. I got back from the woods this morning , took my dogs out and there these were right next to my yard!
-
I'm in Oneida County and our streams are looking great. Just need to peel myself out of the turkey woods to fish.

Those caps just can't get it done! Ovi didn't really impress me that series. Doesn't have a great playoff track record. I was also pulling for the oilers. If they can keep that team together , they ll be back in the hunt next yr. I'm hoping Nashville takes it as well. Anyone but the pens!

Nice birds! Congrats.

This is a great idea. I also hope it succeeds.

Yeah its crazy. When I brought my 06 in last summer for a new frame, there were actual holes in it already. Small ones, but that doesnt matter. Scary!

I had a 2001 tacoma that fell under the first big frame recall. I didnt have a option of getting a new frame. Had to turn my truck in. Toyota cut me a check for 150% excellent condition kbb value (didn't matter what condition the truck was in, that's what you got!). With that check I bought a 06 tacoma that fell under the 2nd frame recall. For this recall they replaced my frame. Just had it done last summer . Cost me under $150 and had it back in a day.

Congrats. Something both of you will always remember!

Not another rangers fan!! Haha just kinding. My sabres are on the golf course by now. Lundqvist looked sharp as ever last night. So did Fluery. The veteran players usually shine in the playoffs. No matter what kind of regular season they had.
-
That was a pretty eventful game. Typical Criesby. A few games later he slashed the tip of a Sens finger off. Glad the playoffs are here, but wishing my Sabres were in it. Oh well, something I'm used to as a Bills, Sabs fan!

Now that's cool!

Incredible pictures!

Nice bucks. Time to start planning for next year! I run anywhere from 10-12 cameras on multiple properties and most of mine are older WGIs also. I will say that luckily mine have weathered well over the years, but the pic quality is definitely lacking (blurry!). I have recently started picking up different brands and I can say that I am going to try and steer away from the WGIs in the future. I like any cam that can take multiple shots when triggered and also a cam that resets quick. The cheaper WGIs do neither. I guess what it comes down to is they are affordable and at the very least give you a blurry idea of what is out there. Good luck chasing those survivors next fall.

I saw a section on the recert form for co-registered handguns. It was a check box, and since I don't have any co-registered, I couldn't tell you what additional info you need to provide once you checked the box.

What a buck. Good luck finding those sheds (and the sheds of "Hooks"). It really is amazing when you think about how many hunters these older bucks have eluded to make it this far.

Did you read his original post?.. acorns -
Well said. Shorten the gun season and move the starting date back towards Dec 1st. Maybe even have multiple (short) gun seasons like some other states do with a week or two break in between.

Love my alphaburly 1000 gram boots , but for really cold sits I have a pair of cabelas Saskatchewan pac boots. They work great. -
Interesting books for the Adirondacks Enthusiast
jman22 replied to chrisw's topic in Big Woods Hunting
He's a good author. Would recommend all those books. I would also add a new book called "Adirondack Deer Trackers" to that list. Lots of great info from some of the best trackers around. -
Congrats! Once in a lifetime hunt right there.

New to NY looking for good public land around Onieda County
jman22 replied to brad85's topic in Bow Hunting
I'm in Oneida County as well. As far as state land goes, search around the NYS DEC website . It has some maps and info on state land throughout the state. I used to hunt Charles Baker State Forest in Brookfield . Pretty country, but does get pressured. Goodluck -
Only show I watch anymore is Midwest Whitetail.I'll agree that their Chasing November series is excellent. Bill and his pro staff are class acts. Plus I don't have cable, so his online format works well for me!
