I found Remington AccuTips 12 gauge at a local gun shop but they were $25 a box! They had SSTs there too at $20. You got a great deal! I was at Runnings yesterday and shelves were pretty full, no limit on boxes and 9mm Winchester FMJ was $20 for 50. I wonder if they are selling off all their ammo before the change in law on Sept 1??

Will you toss in the nude in the background? Deal if you do! -
I have not used gun oil on my muzzleloader, just bore butter. I have not had a rust issue for 10 plus years.

Because that absolutely ruins the taste of properly grown, harvested and cooked, fresh picked that day sweet corn. Anytime after ther day picked, you can grill it or fry it or whatever. But truly fresh sweet corn is boiled for a short time, served piping hot, slathered in butter, salted and eaten off the cob. And no pepper for the love of God!!! Sent from my SM-G990U using Tapatalk

I like my LL Bean boots for stalking. Vey lightweight, keep my feet dry and warm with a pair of wool socks. I also wait for when the leaves are wet and carefully watch my step. Tree to tree cover is good advice.

Well, as a former owner of a banquet facility, here is my perspective and what we did for all events. You pay for the food to be given to your guests while at the event. If someone “can’t finish” their plate, we would gladly box it up for them. If a family of 6 didn’t show because of a sudden illness, we would box that up too. If it was a plated meal, the food left over in the kitchen belongs to the restaurant, and would be utilized in any way possible….next day special, made into soup, employee meals, etc. If it was a buffet, our policy was to discard any food left out on the buffet line that had been partially eaten, and any full trays still in the kitchen or cooler, belonged to the restaurant, to be used as above. We did donate to local food bank, so it was not wasted, but it was handled in a food safe manner from start to finish. I am not aware of any specific NYS laws other than the local Health Code, but food that has been out on a buffet or left to sit in someone’s car for who knows how long is not safe food to eat. The restaurant does not need that liability. That’ why you usually can’t bring your own food in either. The facility needs to have control over preparation, storage and whatever happens to it after the party. When this was explained nicely we never had an issue with a customer being upset. I don’t believe it is a regional thing either, I know several other owners with exact same policy. Same goes with the “guaranteed count” policy. We prepare for your count, if you go under that, you still pay for the guarantee, if you go over that number, you will be paying extra.

I’ve got a few boxes of duck and goose loads if you strike out. I had been seeing a lot of that on the shelves when the trap loads were unavailable, but have not really looked hard for them lately.

My wife called me from Walmart yesterday to ask me a question about draperies for our camp windows, and I asked her to check out the ammo while she was there. Lots of clay loads available, Winchester AA at $12.27 a box, and they let her buy 12 boxes! They always tell me max of 3. I’m sending her in from now on!

I have that chair too. I used it for ice fishing, worked great. It’s still in the barn, I may use it again.

Crappyice, that Marcum will get the job done, it is a good unit, especially for the price. If you want to spend big bucks, you could get a Hummingbird Helix All Season unit, either 5 or 7 inch. I got the 5 only because it fits inside of a 5 gallon bucket, which makes it perfect for ice fishing.
