I have LOTS of experience with the gout...I am currently on a daily med called allopurinol, and that prevents it...Prior to getting on that med, I suffered through numerous gout attacks....I I was on crutches for a week or more at a time on several occasions...I have had attacks in both feet, both knees and my right wrist...The one place I have never had an attackis in the first joint of the big toe, which is the most common place to be affected...It can develop in ANY joint, however Ibuprofen helps, but the last two times I have had bad attacks, the doc treated it with Prednisone...That knocked it out pronto, far and away better and faster than any other remedy... I don't know if Ozzie said it this way, but the expression I am familiar with is " Candy is dandy, but liquor is quicker"..... I think it means that if you apply liquor instead of a box of chocolates, you may get to likker quicker... Or so I've heard...<<whistling>>…...

I know you need to get away from the town lights, and probably a high spot without any artificial lighting would be a good place...I have a nice hilltop in mind, far enough from the great metropolis of Dogpatch so that I may have a chance of viewing them...

I have seen them numerous times in Alaska and Northern Canada... The most spectacular show was at Little Marten Lake, 100s of miles north of Yellowknife in N.W.T....I have a video of them laying around somewhere...They just kept sweeping across the sky in waves....i

More balls than brains...Of course he probably had a guide with a BIG rifle behind him ready to kill the bear if he got up and tried to shred the hunter for pissing him of with his play toy, which often happens... I once read that Fred Bear shot 6 polar bears before he got one he could enter in the book..He kept shooting them and they would charge, forcing the guide to kill them with the rifle, thus making them ineligible for Poe & Young...

Have you checked with Countryside Propane right there in Campbell, Jerry ??... I don't use propane anymore, except for BBQ and my Little Buddy, but I know one the the co-owners there,Dan Loucks and he is a stand up guy and a close friend of mine... Wouldn't hurt to give them a call..I know a lot of local people have left Suburban and gone to Countryside..

Never water swatted or ground swatted an unwounded game bird ( except for turkeys) in my life, but I could care less if the next guy does it...
