I love the chambering...I had a Ruger M77 tang safety in 25-06 that was one of the most accurate rifles I ever owned.. The first rounds I loaded for it grouped sub-MOA... One disadvantage of the 25-06 in a bolt action rifle..You need at least a 24" barrel to take advantage of the slow burning powders that provide the best performance...A 26" barrel is better...That makes for a less than optimum deer rifle for all around use...Works fine in a single shot or a rifle to be used mostly in a blind over a food plot... Shorten a 25-06 to 20 or 22 inches and you end up with a very loud .257 Roberts...

Reminds me of an OLD joke.... A fellow has a pet rooster that he loves...He takes the rooster everywhere he goes... One day he goes to a movie, and he smuggles the rooster into the theater inside his pants.. He sits beside a couple of older ladies, and opens his fly so the rooster can breathe.... Part way through the movie, one of the women whispers to the other, " Mildred..This man beside me is EXPOSING himself !!" Mildred replies, " Oh forget it..Haven't you ever seen one of those before ??" The woman replies, " Yes....But THIS one is eating my POPCORN !!"......

This is the first time I've seen him without his hat...I wasn't sure it came off..... -
Al Strouse down on Rte. 49 between Lawrenceville and Elkland has always done a good job for me... He's also well organized as far as his work schedule goes..If you take him a head in November, he WILL have it done the next summer.. His phone # is 570-827-2955... He has done whitetails, mulies, pronghorns and caribou for me and I have always been more than happy with his work...I HATE shoddy taxidermy...
-
I assume he has a license......

Okay, Pal.....Who ARE you, and what have you done with 4SW ??

I don't think the bird was swimming..I think he was in shallow enough water that he could walk on the bottom...

I have always wished I had a big, foam rubber fist with the middle finger extended on a spring in the back of my truck... When I have a tailgater, I could push a button and the middle finger would bounce back and go BOING>>>>BOING>>>>BOING in front of their windshield.....Hehehe....

That's pretty good for 18 holes....

If they want pass, fine....If not the assholes are going to drive whatever speed I feel like driving..Hehehe...

I love you, man !!!...I have 2 but would not part with either of them....Bought both of them at gunshows for $125 each... WAIT A MiNUTE !! Since you are one of my very best buddies, I would feel cheap selling you one, but if you have something to trade, I might consider it...Gloss black rather than matte, however...Keep in mind that this scope has killed numerous caribou, two moose, two mule deer, a pronghorn and a bunch of whitetails, plus a coyote or two and some woodchucks

The coonhound ate it right after that picture was taken.....

I don't fish where there are snaggers, lifters or rippers...... Come fish with me in some of my obscure spots....pretty tough to lift fish in the spots where I fish....

The crows, ravens, coons, possums and other nest predators will gobble 'em right up....

He'd make a cool HAT for the Missus !!….

I heard it from a CPO in the Navy.. He's the same guy who said that when he retired from the Navy he was going to sign up aboard a Greek Vaseline freighter where all the hatchways ( doorways) were 3 feet off the deck...

The antibiotic would be " just in case" for infection...Sure won't help the gout... Blood test may be inconclusive due to the fact that during the attack, the uric acid is concentrated in the affected area and your general uric acid level as shown by a blood draw may be normal..That is one reason why my gout was mis-diagnosed during my first few attacks.. The only real test is to draw from fluid from the inflamed joint and examine it for uric acid crystals..As left field said, it is a memorable experience that you'd rather not experience twice... As for duration, most of my gout attacks lasted well over a week...Only the last two, which were treated with prednisone, were over in 3 or 4 days, and improvement occurred literally in a matter of hours... Good luck, Larry....
