Perhaps, but Moogie is good company...
-
I'd have to take Moog along to carry it for me....
-
Sounds like something I'd like to ride on.....

Well...I spent the entire morning seeding my WW field with clover this morning, using my over the shoulder whirligig hand seeder... Lots of walking ( 2 acres) and lots of cranking....My ragged old aZZ is dragging... BUT I got it done, and I feel that I got a pretty good , even distribution of seed... Looking forward to seeing the results...

Very sketchy at this time, Jerry....He has very limited movement on his left side, blind in his left eye and impaired speech, as well as issues swallowing... Add that to the fact that he is 74, he has a long row to hoe...He will be going through at least a month of re-hab at St. Joe's....Time will tell....
-
Where did you get this info ?? I am a NWTF Life member, and have bought seed through their seed subsidy for several years, but I have not received any info regarding the seed subsidy yet this year...
-
My partner on the food plot has just suffered a devastating stroke.....He owns the atv and the seeder, and I will not bother his wife at this time to try to borrow it... SOO, it looks like I will be seeding 2 acres by hand....That's OK.. I need the exercise....Maybe I'll find a shed while I am doing it...
-
Hehehe....We'll SEE about that, Chef....If I ever meet up with you, I will certainly have some GORILLA TAPE protecting my nether regions...Along with a sign on my butt saying EXIT ONLY....Hehehe...
-
You needed a church key...Fawn was all in bottles that did not have twist off caps...Never saw or heard of any Fawn in cans...
-
Fawn was some great pop....If you bought it by the case it came in some awesome WOODEN cases...
-
Two kinds of metal beverage containers.. Beer cans or pop cans....Bottles are beer bottles or pop bottles... Any other terminology is either un-American or homosexual....Hehehehe...
-
Down here in Dogpatch, it was always called POP....Didn't hear it called "soda" until I went on active duty in 1971 and started hearing those NYC and NJ dudes calling it soda...
-
I'd rather catch the clap....CATCHING it is fun.... Enduring it and curing it...Not so much... Or at least that's what I've heard …..<< whistling>>….

Thanks for returning me gold coin, Billy me Boy !!
-
I think MOOG made the sketch !!….Good job, ya Big Chooch !!

Good choice especially since you tend to kill your turkeys at very close range...3 " shells in that light fixed breech gun would be brutal to shoot....I see the gun has a max LOP of 11.5"....I'm sure your arms are not that short..Hehehe… Do you plan to remedy that with stock spacers or a slip-on pad...??…..
-
So does my 20" 11-87...I have killed turkeys with it using the double bead that came on it, an set of aftermarket fiber optic sights, a Bushnell Holosight, and it is currently wearing a Leupold 1x4 x 20 scope....

Thanks, Al...According to that info the handle is made from white composition...It has a model # starting with 4......It has discolored some and and is somewhat yellowish with a darker stain on the flats, which made me think it might be bone...It looks NOTHING like the bone grips pictured in the site, however...

One of the old knives I have been cleaning up is a Case XX folder...It has ivory colored grips with S. V. Moffett Co. printed on one side...... I am not sure what the grips are made of....They may be plastic, but they are not as PERFECTLY symmetrical as I would expect plastic to be, and they also appear to have shrunk some since they were installed on the knife.. Is there an easy way to tell what they are made of..??...

Poached eggs are the ones you find inside hen turkeys shot during the spring season....

Thank you all very much !! It just happens that 69 is my favorite number...<<GRIN>>….

Hmmmmm...She throws a nice, tight loop !.....

If I'm not mistaken, that picture was taken in DMU 8T, where it is almost impossible to get a DMP unless you're a landowner or have preference points...Go figure.....

What do you think is the hardest animal to hunt in north America

The elusive double breasted, split tailed mattress thrasher....At least for us poor boys.... If you use the right bait ( $$$$$$$) they are much easier to get in the sack ( bag)….. -
Liquid calcium for food plots?
Pygmy replied to goosifer's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
Try Wade's rental in Addison....Don't know if they have a lime spreader, but they have lots of stuff....If you strike out there, try Wade's Farm & Home in Addison...They don't rent equipment, but are quite knowledgeable and might be able to steer you in the right direction... When I bought lime I got it from Cornell Bros. in Middlebury Center PA....You have to buy a truckload of 12-13 tons and they spread it with a big truck..Last time I bought it cost me about $800 a load, but that was several years ago... Good luck...
