If the blood was very dark sound like you could have hit the liver. Use your judgment on the amount of blood the first few bound the arrow might have been in the exit would pluging it up when she ran a bit it opened it up. Give her an hour or Two if you can then go in and try to do a slow walk on the blood trail. Good luck I hope you find her.

I stood all day in places that I always see at least a doe and went skunked. Not a deer moving. So i don't think the rut has even started yet down here

I would definatly go improved or modified. A mod is the best all around for the far short. If ou use a ful you will cut some of them in half and that doesn't do much for the creamy baked rabbit dished.

jkzfixme Hey thanks for thinking of me,but I am looking for at least a double and something with a removable choke or on a double one that I could select the choke and they would at least be Mod. I hunt in some close quarters for rabbits and a full choke tends to rip them apart.

erussell I have to disaree with you here. I have hit a few deer with just a one lung and I have found them dead. This year was one of them. I do agree with the petering out with the blood trail though and they tend to be a longer blood trail. I think your theory is right if you just nick a lung but if you have a direct hit on a one lung shot the blood loss would be to great for it to survive too long.

I have always gone for time off around the moon phase. I have hit it before the full moon,after the full moon and right during. It is different a little bit every year in my eyes. I have been hunting the same property for 5-6 years now and it changes. Last year I didn't see any real running of does untill the last weekend of bow season which I thought was late. specaily with the guys on here saying there was rut going on in there area. like they said though if I wasn't in the woods I wouldn't have known anything at all. Some does come in earlier than other too.

Not really sure what it was formed after. The guy said it worked though. I was just looking for a substitute for him if anybody knew about it.

I had the same problem, I got a virus from this site awhile back couldn't do anything i beat my puter and threw it a couple times and it worked. Ha Ha The virus thing was true though my puter has never been the same. All this deer porn killed it haha.

I had a friend that was asking me about theis stuff and said it is the only stuff he ever had deer follow and really come into. He says that he can't find it anymore. Does anybody know where it went to? Is there a substatute that works for anybody.

Alright for those who are wondering I had to go in and erase all my cookies to get off the full version then I hunted and pecked around the site. There is a box on the very top right of the page you have to click on that and that sends you to the sign in. I still don't know how to get back from the full version after you click that but oh well I am where I want to be now.
