The temps ate ridiculous. I put on to much clothing. No deer squirrels and coyotes. They sounded like they were eating the niehbors dog. Love the sound of them in the morning like that. They were on that real long lonesome howl. It was cool

Just woke up from my nap at the base of a tree. This warm weather makes it so comfy to lay down and nap.

I have always peed into a bottle and then dump it away from my stands. I don't know if it helps or not. Bow season I will always do it because I need the deer close but I know people that get the big ones and see deer all the time and pee right next to their stand.

Any news about finding this guy.

The only thing I use is the spray for my boots. I don't even know if that is all it is cracked up to be. I had a deer 15 feet from walk by like I didn't exist then another bed down 30 yards for an hour or so. I don't think you need all that stuff but if it makes you more confident hunter use it.

Had three doe in this morn nothing trailing if they are around though the bucks will hopfully be by.

Its really your judgment but I always go with if I am second guessing myself I don't take the shot. Be confident in your shots and you will connect and be happy with yourself. Trust. Your instincts.

Well you guys lied to me I went out for about 5 hours and all I saw was myself getting wet. Oh well got be out there to get the deer right?

I hunt some in Halfmoon pine bush partridge run and between clarksville and dormansville

I walked in the rain the only thing I saw was a gut pile that was a couple days old. Not even a tail. I crossed a creek that was rather full and got a boot full of water to walk around in. That was a blast I left and came home early tomorrow will be the day. Hopfully

The last couple of pic the back end of the deer is ripped off. I would say that deer was injured looks like a quartering away shot that didn't work out.

I know so many people that don't wear a harness and they have fallen out of there tree stand. THey are like whatever no big deal. Stupid I think it takes two seconds to put it on.

Hey use the interactive map from dec it is pinned in the general hunting section. You have to go into layers and turn off some junk and turn on the dmu works great.

I would go with anit hunters or some stupid kids that know no better. It sucks hope they catch them. Funny thing there has been nothing about it in the news. I live in albany schenectady and heard nothing of it until here. The news stations sure are quick to put something on the news if someone shoots someone.

I think I am heading to partridge run this morning to do a little stalking in the wet leaves. Maybe just the morning. I havn't heard many shots where I have been hunting I heard maybe 20-30 opening day sunday wad 10 maybe and the last two days where around 6 each day. Either we are out of hunters or deer.

I don't think all people become careless or nonshalant I think the correct word would be complacent. It happens all over the place at work in your yard etc. We all have to just go that extra mile to be safe

I havn't tried the brenneke but I use winchesters the remington slugs have always shot unpredictable also. I shoot an Remington 870 I want to try the bren. Not untill season is over though.
