  1. Cool pics. My first thought was bot fly larva.
  2. I think you'll be ok. Kind of depends on what you planted but with all the loose dirt on a fresh seeded plot the rain should help bury/cover the seed.
  3. Neat to see them just being deer. Is that an oat field?
  4. That'll make for a few lost hours of sleep.
  5. I always liked how deer & Turkey co-habitate.
  6. You know the season is around the corner when; You start bringing tools & gear back from camp that you know you won't need there untill spring. You want to squish the head of every single tent catapillar on every tree within 5 miles of your property. Your at Walmart/Gander and you think about buying one more tree stand, just because.
  7. Ah ha, well I have updated my sig., thanks. Jic that was too much, if your asking me about my financial stats no offence but that makes you kind of a hoover. That info is between me, my 401k adviser, and none of your frakin business. But you have the 'time' to hopefully find and use a few other people, and peddle the kool-aid warez here, on a public hunting forum. Nice.. The way you seem more than comfortable and ready to gouge into people like that kind of disgusts me. At some point maybe you'll think about your couth instead of a few more greenbacks. And I'm done with this thread.
  8. Whats YOUR favorite color
  9. Hey you guys .. I found one of their tee shirts.
  10. We're with ya brother, honest & for true. Square business
  11. I guess you gave to buy the hats. Well that's disappointing.
  12. "It's somewhere between 1-10% off your "energy", but its gauranteed to be a savings." Oooooo Weeeeee !! LoL - you get caps & tee shirts too?
  13. A back-up bow, just in case.
  14. Ok so it was designed to sell a product, cool video still. One could - hang their favorite clothes in a stand, against some brush, then take a look 50 yards away.
  15. Do you have a back-up jic.
  16. Helping a friend of mine move out of town. Someone I've known since my teens. He's kind of an A-hole, half glad to see him go. Then I'll go see my mom, she's getting up on the years & I want to make sure she has groceries & stuff.
  17. Those are some healthy boys. Is that ivy or wild grape on the fence?
  18. This year I dropped the winter rye in last weekend before Labor day, but these plots are in 6k NZ. And then it rained a bit for two days after - that was good luck I hope..
  19. Lettuce was so so, but then I trapped the ground hog. Sweet onions grew but turned out smaller then I wanted. Cucumbers are late and kind of sparse. Pepper plants first run was not so good but getting 2-3 a week now. Some had surface damage indicating I need more calcium in the dirt.
  20. Looks good. Makes me wish I had a field open and large enough for corn. Corn takes allot out of the ground does it not? I'm imagining all the extra prep work and thinking maybe I should be glad I don't have a corn field.
  21. I'm kind of surprised to see Turkey in that mix, cool.
  22. I run my clubs website and the e-mail distribution, so I got copied onto this event notice - thought the CNY Crossbow fans might be interested. Demonstration Day - Annual Gathering - Fundraiser Picnic Sunday September 8, 2013 - 11 am to 4 pm Baldwinsville Rod & Gun Club 1405 Kingdom Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 (7.5 miles from NYS Thruway exit 39) Crossbow Demonstrations and Open Shooting Try one of the demonstration crossbows or bring your own. http://www.nycrossbowcoalition.com/
  23. Holy overgrowth. Product sounds good, and it looks like the plot will get good light. Since I don't have any plots exposed like that I am hesitant to use seed that seems like it is designed for warmer climate.
