Are they not required to have the triangle warning signs? I'm on tr 104, rt 3 etc and none of them have any type of lumination or reflective sign for traffic. What the crap - they are dark to begin with and seems like they are taking an unessesary risk.

If I buy a few cams for next year, I'm more worried about them spooking deer then wizz. Last year I didn't wizz in a bottle, 4 deer. This year I used a bottle, 4 deer.

Seems as if just last week I was getting jazz ready for a nice 2 week haul at camp. That was two months ago - now I'm headed back up after Thanksgiving for one more long weekend and then it's time to close shop till next year. Good times but DAMN!

You can get a kart under 90$ might seem like a good chunk of change but even if you can't use it all the time if it saves more then 1/2 the drag on your own place it's worth it. Borrow one from somebody, in a pinch a dolly might work but the tiny wheels get caught on too much. On the other hand the 7 I took off state land this year was a drag, and in a heavy rain I found myself dragging it 50 yards the wrong way. I would go 20-30 yards and take a few minutes. Two trips, deer & Bow first climber 2nd. Was soaked & spent the end of that day.

Last weekend 6k, 1/2 foot of lake effect. At first it was cool, but after a little melted then it was as bad as dry leaves. It did, offer me an insight via tracks as to times and travel routes. I've been patterned me thinks.

Took my 11 with a brenneke slug, smoothbore. They are more then capable. Had similar scatter trying the reg. rem slugs. Having said that perhaps next year pick up a box or two of the rem. buckhammer slugs. different animal, excellent pattern with them.

The ex-wife called up and invited me over after the GB/Lions game. Wonder if she wants help with the stuffing.

I usually stick with a small flask looking thing w/water or maybe some gator that fits into about any pocket ot gear pack. However, sometimes when i day run or do a 9-3 I have a thermos I found at herb-phillipsons for about 10$ doesn't make any noise, isn't reflective and holds about 3-4 cups.

My thoughts are - that had to suck. I would file the report & do what you need to do to protect your family etc. I am wondering though can that guy be hit with tresspassing charges and who would need to do that? I mean the owner or someone legaly leasing the property yes?

Few years ago spring Turkey hunting I'm up against a tree got a pair of deeks out next thing you know a few Deer in the feild just a few yards from me just eating casually. Now I hear hoof thumping, figured I'm busted and withing seconds the spot will be blown. Nope, big doe pops out and can't seem to figgure out whey these Turkeys won't move. Right after that she's within a few feet of me munching on some leaves - and then she noticed me, or something odd about the tree next to her. I have a full face mask on but it was the 2 minute stare down - no blinking. And the Doe continued to stare right at me chewing slowly and finaly wondered off. Maybe not the oddest thing but damn cool.

If that buck walked by my stand the only thing that would pass is a radial-x-weave though him. Clean shot provided of course. Now last year maybe he was only a spike or fork, different story.
