  1. Is there a rub line in the area?
  2. Thank you all for the kind comments I should note that I went out on that hunt without my usuall favorite heads, Phantom MX. I hit three different places looking for them, no dice. At Gander shadowed by all the other heads in their fancy packaging was a row of Magnus Stingers. Very similar cut on contact to the Muzzy and priced right. Gave them a shot - Magnus has a new customer.
  3. Seen this stuff at Dick's Sporting goods. They also had an 80$ ladderstand with a seat that folds back. I thought that would be more practical then a handfull of piss.
  4. Hope the yotes don't find it first.
  5. Notice it doesn't specify if the victim had any orange. Also look at the graphic they used for the article, dumb&ss artist put elevation bars on the upper part of the recticle.
  6. Cool shots! Always neat to see Deer & Turkeys together.
  7. Bet that made the hair on your neck stand up a bit.
  8. Dealing with injuries while the season is open is a bummer. Well I should be hunting today, good weather & all. But as I was getting things ready in & out of the Jeep I noticed an oil oder. Sure enough up front new spot in the driveway, pop the hood - power steering line rusted out & leaking.
  9. Big yote 40 yards from camp not to long ago, thought I was seeing things.
  10. Very cool, you guys will never forget that day!
  11. growalot; that doe has the evil eye cprsailor hope you had a good trail! Being at full draw & taking the shot - absolutly exhilarating Good Hunting!
  12. I haven't visited an old favorite wma in about 2 years, you can get wrapped up in leases & private land. Something convinced me to hit it with the Bow & climber Friday, in the wind & rain. Even knowing the area at one point I found myself dragging this hoover 50 yards in the wrong direction. Perhaps the weather & getting soaked turned me around a bit, ironic how once I finally got to the truck the rain stops. The shot was 25 yards & a pass through, still lost the blood trail after maybe 40 yards, rained out. From there I had a good idea he direction he went, kept an eye out for any sign, anything like fresh stumbled tracks etc. The track was about an hour, near the end the wind & rain was erasing sign so I criss-crossed. Man was I getting worried but I stuck to it. He went about 80 yards. PSE @5o# - radial X weave - Magnus Stinger head. Slammin`
  13. Yes, I prefer my Bow. Wait, - what?
  14. I don't go to diners when hunting. Mainly because of the waisted time and oders, besides I'm usually camping & have everything I need.
  15. Deer #3 for 2011 down. 7pnt Buck 7m wma land Bow kill. I'll slab a quick story & daytime pic in the bowhunting section tomorrow, right now i'm spent. I put ice on him till tomorrow. Good hunting
  16. Dang, wish I had half that amount of land cleared.
  17. I'm in my climber 7r a few years ago and one nice morning 3 deer start tooling into my spot. Next thing i know a nice doe is broadside 25 yards. Catch sight of a nice buck and a smaller one behind him sniffing up behind her and now I got rack & tunnel vision. Well, the doe moves off and the bucks turn away moving behind the shrubs - and in a matter of seconds, I got nuttin.
  18. Considering whats on the videos I'm thinking alot of us wouldn't mind that problem. Enjoyed watching those, b&w with envy.
  19. Notice his tail out in the pics. Hope you get a shot at him!
  20. Drag em off to where I dispose of carcasses up there.
