  1. So on my ride home I was listening to WSYR radio and Bob Lonsberry was saying that the NYS DEC is talking about doing what he called a 180. In the fact that they suggested in order to allure more hunters and anglers to NYS, they would make the hunting and fishing license regulations less restrictive. Do away with all the extra permits and stamps and classifications and have a single hunting license and a single fishing license. Also they would consider selling these 2 single licenses for a slightly lesser cost than they currently are. I'm not sure where he got that information but its interesting non the less. Any one care to chime in on this?
  2. As long as it is in the original configuration with no aftermarket grips and modifications to accept a detachable mag...the SKS should be fine. Still may only load it with 7 rounds though. Standard SKS box magazine holds 10.
  3. I went from a 1990's PSE 1100 Something-or-other... To a brand new(almost 2 yrs ago) Mathews Z7Xtreme, night and day difference. I dont really feel the need for an upgrade at any time soon, but I'd make a guess that my 2 year old bow is probably considered "old" equipment.
  4. Yep total crap. More civil disobedience will be needed should this get rammed through.
  5. I'm leaving on a bus from Gander Mtn Cicero. I think there area at least 6 or 7 people that I know of from my work who are going too. I have a good feeling the 28th rally will be BIG. Dress warm.
  6. yep Olympic and LaRue, now these guys.... Awesome I hope some big ones step up and do the same.
  7. Yes sorry, I meant a PA Pistol permit. I wasnt clear in the original question.
  8. Does anyone here as a NYS resident have a PA permit as well? Or a Utah permit? I am interested in a PA permit. Just curious as to how much it costs. Thanks.
  9. I'm going on one of the busses leaving from Cicero Gander Mountain.
  10. Lets hope that this method doesn't turn out low numbers of people. Nothing worse than rallies with only a few people at each one. Im heading to the one on the 28th.

    D-Loop

Hey everyone, I have a question about installing a D-loop...My bow has one and its frayed in one spot...I watched a Youtube video and it doesnt look that hard to do, but IMHO, seems like an important thing to do correctly. My question is it worth just paying the few bucks at either a shop or a big box store(Gander Cicero has it listed as an $8 charge) to have them do it? Thanks.
  12. To The Top again. Still available. 18 count 295 grain .50 caliber Muzzleloader bullets.
  13. If they dont fall under the guide lines of an "assault weapon" as written by the SAFE act....then you don't need to register them.
  14. Just so we are all clear.... These are for a .50 caliber muzzleloader.
  15. I will ship on buyer's dime. Given the size... Should only be about $3.
  16. I have a package of 295 grain hollow point Power Belts I'd like to sell. Switched to Hornady. 18 of them in the package. I'll take $15. Face to face in the Syracuse area. I work out towards Cazenovia too so I am out that way as well.
  17. That might fall under a "wrist rocket" sling shot as it has an attached arm brace. Illegal here in People's Republic of Ny.
