If it were me, I'd tell him sorry, but sales are final. If this had come up within a few days of him getting it, it might be different. He can't buy a used product, sit on it for two months, and then claim it was broken when he received it. Maybe it was, but we can't know and it isn't fair that you would have to eat the cost of a problem that he very well may have caused. If you were planning on selling more items on that site, maybe see if you can negotiate a 50% refund or something along those lines, if only to retain your reputation for future sales.

If only this was a 35mm prime. I just don't find myself using a 50mm (75mm equivalent on a DX sensor) that much, or I'd be all over this.

With my truck getting 17 mpg highway, that may be a little too far. Thank you for your interest though. -

Thumb breach plug and breech release that sits in front of the trigger guard. Not the old one that hung below and got caught on your jacket while you walked. EDIT: Pics below -
I'm selling my CVA Wolf. It's black/blued, has a BSA 3-9 x 40mm scope, sling, and I'll throw in whatever Pyrodex pellets and Hornady SSTs I have left. Gun is accurate and has served me well. I have two muzzleloaders and haven't had time to hunt ML season in three years so I'm looking to pass it on. Looking for $250. Face to face only in the Rochester/Buffalo areas or within a reasonable drive of the Rochester area. PM or text 716-200-6707 for pictures if interested.

While those fines are lenient, changes to severity aren't the most effective way to reduce offending. Studies show that deterrence is better achieved when the probability of being caught is increased rather than the severity of punishment. That is, of course, a joke in this context. Poachers are rarely ever caught. First the lack of manpower hurts. Factor in the rampant failure to report violations by civilians and you can practically guarantee getting away with it. You can make the fines as high as you want. I doubt it would make any difference.

I have a beagle x blue tick hound mix. I got him from a rescue in WV. He isn't much of a hunting dog. Never tried running rabbits, but he'll tree a squirrel like no one's business. I just can't shoot it because a gunshot sends him into the next county. He has a hell of a nose though. I've been playing around with training him as a blood tracking dog if I can only find the time. EDIT: Sorry for the massive pic. I can't figure out how to resize for the life of me.

I'm more of a scotch guy, but I do enjoy bourbon every now and again--especially if I can bum my old man's Blanton's. I always keep some Buffalo Trace around the house for when the mood strikes. Best bourbon for under $40 in my opinion.

As someone who spent two years working an ambulance in the City of Buffalo, I can confirm everything Larry says.

Like was said above, only if t was prime property and she would prorate the time you've already missed. According to this website, the average lease price in NY is $19/acre. http://deerpros.com/hunting-lease/hunting-lease-price-guide/

What I mean is just relax and enjoy your hunt. You can't control what other people do. But it's up to you whether it ruins a pastime that's supposed to be enjoyable.
-
You seem to vent a lot. You've only been here for a week and a half and you've already posted multiple threads about how other people are ruining hunting for you. Why do you even hunt if it's that stressful?

Town of Allegany was quieter than I have seen it in 5 years of hunting there. Usually the neighbors and the people across the valley are blasting away starting at 6:15. This year first shot was 6:45 and I only counted 7 shots by 10:00 am. Heard less than 30 shots all weekend.

They've lost their last two MNF games. I don't think this will be the bloodbath people think it will. It has the potential to be, but I don't think it will.
-
I'm not picking on you. I'm just trying to understand your position. I don't support ARs. I understand people who do. They're just trying to do what they think is necessary to take the sport in the direction they'd like to see it go. But for me personally, my wife's grandfather is 85 and this is most likely his last season. I couldn't imagine denying him the ability to shoot a 4 point deer and smile from ear to ear one last time just because I want to shoot bigger bucks. That's how I see it.
-
Man, he's tall. So we can expect a picture of him wrapped in a tarp in a carpeted truck bed tomorrow around noon?

You're contradicting yourself. 1.5 and up are shooters?
-
Just to be clear, Pickle, are you saying 1.5 and up would be shooters? Or would 1.5 be protected under your system? The reason I ask is because most 1.5 year olds I see are spikes and forks. If you mean the former, the button bucks--the only class of bucks protected under your plan as I understand it--would still be taken on DMPs. I don't see the point of that.
-
I was being sarcastic, Pickle. Thanks for recognizing it. The point being that growing big, mature deer may be "more fun" in your eyes, but not everyone's goals are the same. Why should we tell someone else that they have to change their hunting experience in an effort to accommodate your goals?
-
Same *stuff* different year? Do you mean thousands of hunters will take to the woods and enjoy time with their families and friends making memories that they will have for the rest of their lives and yes, shooting deer that they are happy with?
-
Maybe not politically correct. Maybe we call it "cognizant of the image you portray to the public in an era where fewer and fewer people support what we do."

100 gr pyrodex pellets in the inline. 85 gr by volume loose 777 in the Hawken.

Yes, but don't forget, Lamar Odom saved his marriage by overdosing on Viagara and Cocaine at a brothel. Even though it worked for them, it might not be the best solution for another marriage. These are all ideas to explore if a problem was identified. At this point in my life, however, I don't get enough hunting time to advocate for a shorter season. Hell, I just missed my first bow season ever because of work.
