  1. He reminds me of a bunch of my girlfriends and my first wife, fat with a nice rack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Shot my Xbow 3 times today for the first time all year. 1 at 30 1 at 40 and 1 at 50 all is well I think I might tote It in the am. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Had to get my daughter on the bus so I got to my SZ property at 8:15 been in stand a little over an hr and have saw 2 small bucks chasing. Can only sit until 2 but so far it's been a good wet sit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I agree, I don't like my job but I like the benefits, I like the guys I work with and I can deal with it until I can retire at 48yrs old. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Fmj's and hardcast perform similar but hardcast will have a larger flat nose that tear bigger holes that a rounded FMJ. My 10mm woods load is a 180gn hardcast with a large flat front At 1200fps. I have killed a couple deer with them and would have no problem hunting bear with them. One of the deer I shot was quartering to me it broke shoulder going in and was in the ham of the hind leg and broke back leg as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Literally impossible to enforce like many other stupid laws. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. My brother carry's latex gloves just for that purpose, me I feel like Copenhagen and doe piss has got to be irresistible to a buck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I do that every time and never realize I do it until I get in stand and put a good chew in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. How am I drawing a line on technology? I like it the way it is I just don't want full inclusion. It has nothing to do with the technology it is the implement itself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Grow I'm sure I'm not the first one to tell you this but you're a rare breed, I'm am certain dec is not taking "people like you" in account for any decisions they make. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. We can swap shifts so seniority is a non issue. Work for the golfers and vacationers during spring and summer and not work a day for 3 months. Crappy shifts, depends on how you look at it. I generally work 3 16's a week and have 4 days off a week unless I want to pick up an overtime on a day off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. If time off to hunt is part of the equation on career paths there isn't a better job. I have worked in the trades field and In a paper mill have made good money at all of them but time off during season was always tough, now I don't work during deer season if I don't want to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Have you considered taking the test for state corrections? Decent pay all the over time you want and you don't have to work a single day during hunting season if you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks I'll order one today and let you know how it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I have broken a rod, a hinge and the cheap plastic lock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Just had a rack buck chase 2 does by at 30yds. On a side note does anyone make a decent tree umbrella? I'm on my 3rd one in 2 years I have tried the ameristep and field and stream both broke and I broke another one this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Hung a new set in the back corner of my southern zone property. It was a long walk because of the wind direction but I'm here now until I can't sit any longer, steady rain and warmer than I want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I never once said I wanted the "special seasons removed" actually the opposite, I will say again I am 100% against inclusion. My point is who the hell are you to decide what technology is ok and what isn't? Why are you fighting the good fight against Xbows but not against trail cameras that send real time photos to your cell phone. Or electronic rifle scopes that range the target and automatically adjust your crosshairs to be point of impact? The list could go on forever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Most long range over 250yds aren't a "fast shooting scenario." By far the most accurate and effective method in long range shooting is doping the scope. That being said I won't shoot a deer that far because I don't want to. My long range shooting days are long over. If I can't hold my crosshairs on hair I am not shooting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Saw the big high narrow 10 I haven't seen since the 27th of September. Probably a mile and a half from where I saw him. Never got closer than 250yds and was chasing the hole time and never game me a shot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I'll be out on the 4th, don't know what I'll be toting compound,Xbow or rifle. It will be a game time decision I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. No deer yet, I'm in the corner of the 4 biggest corn fields the picked yesterday and this morning. Been in here since 1pm. I don't know what's gotten into me but this is more sitting than I did all last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. "Doping" and turrets are the same thing essentially. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Incorrect, "doping" has been around for a long time and is still the most effective and accurate method for long range shooting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Next May you're on! I'll even put you up in my wive's resort on lake George for your stay on my dime if I can't get you in range of a tom in 2 days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
