I don't agree with this, since owning a crono I have yet to own a bow that shot under ibo with my hunting setup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Actually I'm not. I hung this stand the other day based on a ton of sign I found the other day while still hunting. This ravine is nearly impossible to still hunt because of how thick it is with all the honey suckle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven't read this whole thread, and I was trying not to get dragged into this wormhole. The loss of any human in accident is a tragedy. Placing the blame on a deer is ridiculous! Being the father of a 10yr old daughter that rides atv's daily hearing of this hits home. My sincerest condolences goes out to the family and friends! Here are my questions, you said she was a freshman likely under 16yrs old. Atv's over 90cc are recommended for kids under 16, what size was the quad? Was she wearing a helmet? Was there adult supervision? The blame game could go on forever. Wolc you have taken a cnn style of blaming an object instead of the underlying facts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Steady drizzle but the deer are on their feet. I am in a funnel and have 3 different bucks chastising does so far. If you added up all of their antlers together it still wouldn't be a shooter, good to see some activity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like I have a window of no rain until 8:30, I'm going to gun hunt with 30+mph rain but I'm going to give it a whirl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Holy crap 45$ for 243 ammo! Does it also gut them and help with the drag? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Most all cartridges were "designed" for one thing or another and then found their place killing critters, what's the point? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Illuminated reticles have their place in the deer woods. On a low power scope where fast shooting is essential such as drives etc. I own a couple of the leupold vxr's and don't think the extra weight is worth the very small advantage in getting on target with both eyes open. On a scope with the low magnification higher than 2x where shooting with both eyes open is no longer faster an illuminated reticle has no advantage once so ever. As for vortex glass, they have been way heavier than the comparable leupolds and that's why I have never bought one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I finish out nearly every year with a tag in my pocket. That tag means I can hunt and I like hunting way more than killing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow, I have read some very stupid posts from you but this one takes the cake! I have let 9 bucks go so far this year, I'm going to have a very hard time sleeping tonight... NOT! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Low Talley Rings on a 336

The other thing you have to worry about with lows is the hammer. I had a 2-7 in low DNZ mount and didn't like it and that was a 28mm obj. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Good luck in the morning fellas! Can't wait to see the pictures! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When my brother first started hunting 5 years ago I gave him one of my 270's to use I sighted it in with a box of core lokts I had given to my by my grandfather when he was moving south. The gun shot them great so that's the box I gave him to use hunting. A couple months later on a 10degree morning he goes to shoot his first buck and click, he puts another she'll in and click. The buck runs off when I get up to him he's pissed and thinks I was messing with him by giving him duds we got home and 5 out of the remaining 13 shells fired. Those shells were stored in my grandpas bedroom closet from the day they were purchased until I got them and they were stored in my ammo cabinet in the basement. It could have been a bad batch of ammo or a fluke but I now date all my ammo when I purchase or reload it. Anything older than 5 years is for range work only. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cousin lives next door we both have long bed reg cabs 4x4, he has a 16 2500 with 6.4 I have 2017 F250 with 6.2. He hates his, mine consistently gets better mileage and he and I think mine tows better, I like his interior better but overall he and I both like my ford better. I had a 15 2500 gm with 6.0 before this one and like the dodge and ford better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With your inexpensive entry level compound I'm sure you'll have plenty of penetration for a perfect heart shot at 53yds! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm hoping some deer move before the rain starts at 9. Temps are dropping and the air is changing. I'm in a ravine between 4 big standing corn fields don't have a bunch of shooting but I'm in a great funnel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Some of my best hunting days of my life is when I was able to find a the first and last hott does in an area. It's supply and demand. When supply is down... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Being a 3wheeler guy, I always liked the narrower taller raptors never had a 700 but had 2 660's and they were bullet proof. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Freehand I'll take a peep over a scope any day for shooting targets, shooting deer not so much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
