    My first sit if the Holiday Hunt. 38 and a sprinkle here and there. It will have to be a goodun to get me to shoot. I can’t believe I had one day all season with more that an inch or two of snow. Deer still not in any kind of winter pattern. After 8 days of sitting in 70+ degrees and constant sunshine I was overloaded on vitamin D and the dismal cloudy NY was needed lol not Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I would have to say finally diggin deeper and investing in quality hunting clothing. I have a mix of brands so I won't pan for one or another. The higher quality stuff really lets me enjoy being out more and being comfortable. That and my TC Triumph muzzleloader I love shooting deer with that gun, when I can pry it away from my son!

    I have the Solitude bibs and jacket as well as the Kiln. The Kiln follow directions and do not wash it much or it will wear out fast. Otherwise it is fine. I have another brand I go to more. I have been very happy with the comfort and warmth of the Solitude. I did have some inner stitching come apart in the bibs and they sent me a new pair. One complaint no harness slot in jacket back.     I think it’s great in any areas not hit by EHD as the deer populations in most areas can surely support it. Two concerns. Bucks getting taken that shed already but it is what it is. And in a year of deep and heavy snow it would add a lot of stress. This year that is of no concern. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Well after a buncha days not out I am in the tower for the evening. Was headed to a different spot but felt that 27 degrees and freezing breeze and decided walls and heat are good.     I don’t carry 99.99% of the time anyway. I really do not feel the need. I don’t go too many places a gun would do me any more good than common sense. I tend to stay out in the country lol.     It may be safer though compared to what medications, hormones and altered feed was given to said beef. I always look at todays chicken breasts and say there was never a natural raised chicken in the word with breasts that big lol.

    Had a real nice buck on cam 5:30 this morning. I may have to get out tomorrow. 3 days not in the woods is terrible lol.

    I'll have to search to find. It was one of the TV investigative shows. They ordered fish and sent to laboratories who confirmed it was much cheaper scrap fish. And yes I think most of it led back to distributors but not all.

    Not to derail but I saw a report a lot of high end restaurants sell a lot of fraud fish too. I am sure the low end do as well but you would think high end restaurants would do better. I saw a few from NYC were caught.
