I don't think I would want to give up either. I love hunting alone and I do a lot of that as I have more time to hunt than anybody I hunt with. I am at home in the woods and where I find myself the happiest. My kids are both adults now. My daughter hunted with me once last year when she was home from USC and my son about 5-6 times. I would give up every one of my solo trips to hunt with them as sharing their experience is way more rewarding than any of my own. I also love hunting with my brother, brother in law and nephew as we work together to figure out spots, stands and tactics. I'm greedy and will continue to do both lol.

I'm in the camp if it is properly seasoned a light detergent will not bother it. And acidic food can do a number on the seasoning. My wife is banned from my cast irons lol!

It already sounds like a headache in the brother is speaking for the niece and her guy. And things already got screwed up. Should be a forewarning. Sell it to the friend and the niece and guy can rent to own from him. Problem solved lol!

Well he is not wrong on baby deer being better than older deer, its just not worth it in my mind to take the lower amount of meat. And he should target baby does not bucks for the challenge!! Squirrel is better than rabbit no question. LM Bass is good but not better than walleye or perch. And Genesee is not better than Bleu. I'll take Canadian spring water over Genesee river swill please. It just cracks me up how much he winds some of you up. Your like his entertainment......

I use my Deerslayer 20 every year as I am in Onondaga County on some of my props and for the first few days I carry it so I can shoot multiple deer if opportunity arises. Then I switch to the muzzleloader.

That second one looks pretty fat too. Not slowing him down much!

You will not be disappointed. That is how my grandma taught me many years ago. Heat it up in a pan with a can of mushroom gravy and a can of mushrooms and have over egg noodles. One of my favorite ways.
