I need some opinions on age of this guy.. I call him "Whitey", for his short and very grayish white colored face.. Here is a couple pics from last year, and this year. I first thought he was a 2.5yr in the 2015 season and 3.5 for 2016, but I cant tell now, and Im second guessing myself lol. Im beginning to think he is only a good 2.5yr old for 2016 ... looking for some opinions.. He is a super pattern-able buck 2 years straight now which would lead me to think him being only 2.5 this year but who knows.. Thanks in advance!

Have you started your seed search?

I agree, again not tying to push one over the other. Just seem to be a great product. I will be introducing their clovers this March. Frost seeding 3 existing clover plots and 1 "hay" field Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -

I used to plant strictly WI products, and those only and never had bud luck with them, as they always did what they were supposed to. But after planting new blends this year i will no longer buy them. They are nice and "convenient" but I got better stands, and quality plants this year planting DeerAg. Not trying to push anything, but we were in a drought most all summer, and with very minimal rain fall. I got a better stand of brassicas this year than i ever did with WI with perfect growing conditions. It could be from the nitrogen in the ground from 2 consecutive years of soybeans and the organic matter left over from over seeding brassicas once. but They grew phenomenal with very little rain. I never broke ground for this plot either, glyphosate, spread seed and wait for rain, 2 other plots i did the same except i rolled in the seed. results were great. My neighbor planted all WI products this year and im not sure about his plots but my plots are getting annihilated and a ton of it is daytime activity. More than in years pass, i will say that. But i am trying to build as much organic matter into the soil bc i dont have the extra money to fertilize all of my plots. The kids like to consume my paychecks lol -
Phade, have you ever run rechargeable batteries in the brownings? Was thinking of trying them instead of lithiums. Any advice? Not a big deal with the lithiums just an experiment I guess Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Thanks for the update Phade, I am definitely going to grab another browning this year or 2, and my hopes are to also get into a Spartan cam going for next summer into deer season.

Sure do. It almost seems like an addiction lately. Lots of good deer around. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

For brassicas ill be sticking with the DeerAg, but im trying to figure out what clover species are best to frost seed my existing clover plots. hear lots of dif opinions. but it seems aslike ladino berseem and even med red clovers. Any opinions?? As of last year instead of growing and disking in, and im trying to grow and maintain 3 seperate clover plots. I suppose i can try a little different in each. As of Right now one plot is Whitetail institute clover, other 2 are DeerAg trophy Clovers. Im not really into buying bags off commercial shelfs anymore. -
Groundhog max...is it worth the bother?

I'm in the process of taking a 2 gang atv disk and converting it into a no till drill setup. Hoping it works out well and I will do the same for the 3pt disk. If it doesn't work I will have a disk for sale lol Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -
I will be doing so as well, certified mail, and towards the deadline date Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Craigslist is where I go for everything. I found a dude 2 years ago that had tons of disks and drags laying around he was going to scrap. I went and offered 150$ for everything. I got an 8' working gang disk 1 8' harrow drag and about 6 3-4' harrow drag setups. The trailer was loaded lol. 150$ gave him a high scrap price lol and gave all the small drags away to buddies Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -
Ive always been skeptical of the split limb bows. Probably ever since watching the slow-mo videos from Lee and Tiffany lol. The flew difference between the solid limb and split limbs, along with the horror stories Ive seen and heard from Bow Tech. If i ever came across an issue with what i shoot now for a compound, i told myself i would try the Elite first or Prime.. But for a hunting bow at your standard ranges of 20 and 30. Basically any bow on a shelf will seal the deal.
