I do love my Encore but if buying a ML today I wouldnt bother unless youre going to buy some other barrels for it. And IMO by the time you do that and put good glass on them you could just buy complete rifles. And who doesnt want more guns?!

The nice thing about the modern ML with the removable breech plug is you can also look at used with confidence

I had a woodlot in Elma that was really hard to get back into, just a mess of a trek. I'd always save it until early November and killed a buck there 4 or 5 years in a row. Then someone bought the house near it and brush hogged trails into it and spoiled it. There were stands and buck lures hanging all over the place

I used to hunt three different pieces with my climber and had a lot of success. I’d had a few spots on each and if I saw a truck at one I’d move on.
