Who took this picture? I am calling BS! Look at the position of the sun, from the rear left meaning shadows would point front right. There are no shadows. That burst in the sky will produce shadows.

My super cheap trail markers
DirtTime replied to rob-c's topic in DIY - Do It Yourself, tutorials and videos
Nope. I need markers to find my way to the bathroom at home. -
Wow, I figured most were using felt now.

Anyone remember using this stuff to quiet metal arrow rests using aluminum arrows?

Maybe so, but theres something to be said for making something yourself. I love learning new DIY stuff. -
It looks like you are having a blast Bionic. I enjoy seeing pics of mountain ranges and the terrian as much as I like seeing pics of big bucks. Thank you for sharing.

That's a great idea thank you for sharing. Seems like it will work better then the surveyors tape for sure, and better then those glow in the dark thumb tacks that work for a year. -
BAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAAAAAHAHAHAHAAA!!! That's awesome! Hypocrisy at it's finest right there! We know they will spin this as it wasn't his phone. But, I will never be one who buys into that! When your hands in the cookie jar the hands in the cookie jar! Or, in this case his hand was on .......... BBAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA!

I had boots on the ground scouting for up north this past Sunday. The underbrush is out of control now, when they logged the land a few years back it opened up a lot more areas for sunlight. The ferns are a huge PITA now, after logging there's a lot of branches left from trimming, and you can't see them, almost fell flat a few times. Even the avt trails that the owner made are all but invisible. On the bright side to the underbrush, I was really able to see far more clearly where the deer are moving through in certain areas now. Checked the natural ground blinds I built up there, all but one is unhuntable until after the leaves fall and a good frost or two wipe out the ferns and such, I didn't get overly concerned with that to be honest. I still have a few places where old trees that have fallen have created natural blinds for me, many of those sit on banks so I am not at ground level and can look down and see the areas pretty well.

Cam came today. No instructions because it's refurbished, but found some info online so no worries. Was a little annoyed that they forgot to include the SD card, sent an email, but not stressing over a $5-10 item. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

I use Scotch Guard or Colemans spray waterproofing for seams and the walls, never had any issues. I do the whole tent, just because they claim to be waterproof doesn't mean they will stand up to all day/night downpours, Nothing worse then waking up in a wet sleeping bag.

Looks like most have shooting down. Reading comprehension, not so much.

Baaaahahahahaha. Dudes are funny. Maybe it was the Beast Of Bray Road, he got tired of eating the locals in his area, went on a road trip out this way, then realized NYr's taste like $hit and the berries tasted better. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

My first bow was one of those stick bows from Nichols, it was red and came with three wood arrows for like $20. Lost all three arrows the same day playing that silly game where you shoot the arrow straight up and the last one to run wins. Darton ( I do not reacall the model, bought it used. String broke. ) Jennings Gale Force Hoyt Spectra Raider in the brown camo Browning Timber Wolf Old PSE Thunder Flite Express ( bough used, again, string broke, pics on here IIRC ) Teton Alpine Lite ( Given to be my Jeremy K, bow did not fit, so I passed it on to another member here ) Current: Diamond Prism

Nice and RED! Like steak should be. Did you let it sit on the plate for a couple minutes to let some blood drain off to use as gravy for that baked tater?

I should have the trail cam up in a few weeks, maybe if it's a bear it will show up on the cam. I am hoping as that area already has too many coyotes.
-
I think that's the same brand the Shop & Save up the road has. That one was good, the alligator one, not so much. I planned on fish tacos, but just doing leftovers, tacos tomorrow. the day got away from me and now I just don't feel like dealing with deep frying.

That last part was funny. LOL. I have never seen 'yote scat with berries in it before. So if that's what it is then that's two firsts today. Giving goats manicures and fruity 'yote poop.
-
I would never leave the bathroom except to eat.
-
Yes, and even some full berries. If that's a raccoon it's frikin' huge. I didn't have anything to do a size comparison, but it was the size of my dogs scat, she's a Husky, so it's not Poodle poop. LOL. My first though was bear. But they haven't seen any up there in years.

Land owner says coyote. Your thoughts or feedback? Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

I'm sure they have to pay for usage and rights, never seen it on the screen before though. It may just be that some operate differently. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
