  1. You wanna see hunter harassment, start a thread about meat hunters VS horn hunters.
  2. There was a segment on the news this morning about this. I guess there were tweets, and other social media propaganda I don't follow. I guess Cuomo called Trump and stated he would not run against him. I don't know if it's true, but either way, Cuomo is going to win again. People keep blaming UpState for his wins, but the people stating that think all of the state farther north then the City don't vote. That's not true IMO, you look at the major cities in central NY and WNY, the major cities win the state elections here. Anyways, this is from the "Democrat and Constipated". https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/news/2018/08/13/donald-trump-claims-andrew-cuomo-told-him-he-wouldnt-run-against-him-2020/983487002/
  3. I got my wife into hunting a few years ago. Regular season. Took her out opening day for the SZ, we were back home within two hours. Got her up in the NZ on the private land we have access too, and two weekends in a row she sat the morning hunt in below freezing temps. Now, she will brave the cold for private land VS public land in our area. She fishes, but not like I like to fish. She's OK catching guppies, where as I want to land something with solid fillets. She's my best friend, and sharing time in nature with her means a lot to me.
  4. Awesome pics, and sounds like you have a great vacation.
  5. That time stamp on that cam is way off. 4-26-2015? Nice buck, looks like he's hard-horned already.
  6. Where I am for this one, Greene County and Schoharie County seem to be getting hammered the most according to the news. Was supposed to be bad nasty rain and T-Storms for that area and mine according to just about every weather channel I looked at this morning, now it looks like it's bypassing. Last week, Delmar had the intersection of Delaware Ave. & Elsmere flooded, Schenectady had so much rain it blew a transformer out in the sewer in front of Proctors, and few other streets flooded. This is insane, every August it seems for the past 6 years.
  7. This so/so. Bitter, and doesn't blend well with the cigar. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  8. That's a great shot Dave. I hope the shoulder gets better at some point so you can drop one with the stick bow like you have mentioned wanting to do.
  9. Chops and corn over on the charcoal grill. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  10. Wasn't about light. It was about crappy weather and sitting most of the day, like sitting on stand all day. But carry on dude, no bunch up in my undies. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  11. LOL. Bacon is for a tater salad later in the week. Popped this one waiting for charcoal to get ready, fruity and the hibiscus gives it a sour after taste. Not bad though. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  12. Um, well smart guy, what's the difference where I shot? Still don't like shooting or hunting in rain. No different taking that shot at home then taking at an indoor range. But as always you valuable input is appreciated. [emoji854][emoji106] Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  13. Grabbed a 6'er of mixed, not sure what to have in bit. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  14. I know, I was being sarcastic.
  15. I only asked my question because in my area, if the buildings are deemed condemned, they will hit you hard on fines. Most of the time, some "folks" get away with 30 cars and 50 appliances that don't work on the front lawn.
  16. You have a lovely yard Jeremy. The only thing missing is a live band. Maybe that's on for next weekend.
  17. Got a link to the listing? Sometimes when they say "needs work" it might be the roof or floors, or other possible structural damage. Or just needs paint. Asking this is like me asking if a good deal on a .308 bolt rifle is worth it without any real information.
  18. I still support Trump. He's done more in a year and a half then most of his predecessors for the political issues did in 8 years. Border safety, getting jobs back in the USA, getting our Military and LEO's long over due funding, putting the hammer in illegal criminals being let back in our country over and over, and boosting the economy. Still waiting for the Health Care issues to be resolved, and I don't care what POTUS is in office, tax cuts will always benefit some and leave others high and dry. I'm not so sure any more about his "Pro A2" commitment. Nothings changed, it just keep getting worse and worse. Stupid gun laws are on the rise, it's spreading like crabs on a singles ocean liner cruise.
  19. Waiting to hear what you think Paula. I love that beer!
  20. Really trying a different approach this year. One shot at different times. Today was wait until the final few minutes of what would be legal shooting time for today. Indoors 15 yards. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk
  21. For that to be realistic, it would have to be video footage.
  22. There are some other areas up there we ( or I myself ) were ever never able to find public access too. I haven't looked at a map, I think one was Mud Pond (?), Slush Pond, I will have to look up a map to be be more clear on some of them. I know some of the roads up that way are labeled Adirondack Park Reserve, they are scattered and all over the place. Would love to read about access to the smaller lakes and ponds up in that area.
