  1. I watched it, what I take is this, there's far too much of this crap going on, from all sides! At 7:50 that old bearded guy makes a comment about "Our four-fathers built this country!". They also stole the land from from the natives by slaughtering them. FYI, some of the natives to this country were...Wait for it.....MEXICAN! If you want to breed and preach hate, make sure you have some facts right. I will also add, the average American doesn't think like anyone in this video!

Covered that. LOL OK Growie, lets have it woman, what are these proposed changes that made you simply type "TIP"?

    Tip...

The only place you could ever use last years tags were always in the NZ for deer. Because the early bow season starts on Sept. 27'th. So you could use leftover tags that you didn't fill until October 1st when new licenses took effect.

    Tip...

That was a couple years ago. The changes I have noticed are more about fishing and bobcat hunting/trapping then anything else. Don't keep us in suspense grow.
  5. Happy birthday. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  6. Well, to update this thread......... Was talking to my buddy, and decided to hit the NZ weekend opener. Going up to camp and hunt from 9/29 to 10/1, weather permitting. Schodack might be worth a $6 day trip during the gun season, but I just couldn't justify $6 a day to scout.
  7. For those that use a quiver that attaches to your bow with a foam insert , what foam do you use when the old stuff wears out?
  8. Top pic first shot of the night. Second pic, shots 2, 3, 4, and 5. 18 yards. Time for a beer. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  9. No paper tuning. No bare shaft tuning. No resources to re-fletch my arrows if I strip them. Still shooting well. I did the walk back when I started having to shoot in my home. As for the poke about having to shoot outside? I didn't make the rules of this park. So if shooting in my home is the only way to get and keep my form and accuracy, I will continue to do so. I also never shoot well in a crowd. So joining a club to shoot my bow would not be a great idea. Sorry if you have an issue with the fact that I am still getting my time in shooting in my home.
  10. Decided to try my own experiment tonight. Shoot a 31" arrow and see what difference there was from my 28" arrows. First pic, height was spot on, an inch left. Second pic. I wasn't dead set on adjusting my sight. So I shot 4 arrows. Top bulls eye, first a little high and left, second a little left. Took a minute, got ready for 3rd shot. Made sure peep window was aligned with site window, a bit high. Last was bottom bullseye and right there again just a pinch low. Remember folks, never start making adjustments to your bow until you double check your form. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  11. I am by no means trying to suggest anything. You corrected it, like I said, mistakes do happen. Nothing more you can do. I still want to know about the goats though.
  12. This could have been an honest mistake or not. It seems like if you hunt and have a farm one would be well versed on the laws pertaining to both, but mistakes do happen. So, there is a loop-hole in the "No Baiting Deer" laws. All I have to do is hit the lottery, buy a hundred acres of land and a cow. I can put bait all over my land! After all, it's for my cattle, not the deer. Interesting, never knew that. Will be buying a Quick Pick in the AM. <--- sarcasm ( sort of ) What's the deal on goats? Can you put these mineral blocks out for goats? I'm not joking here, I am asking this with 500% sincerity!!!!
  13. Fletch hit it right about the lime. Keep flies out of it. On a note, the next time you make beer can chicken try something just a little heartier then Corona. Even a Bud will add more flavor then Corona. Yuengling works pretty good, little cheaper but better flavor, it's also great to make beer brats.
  14. NICE! That's something you don't hear about on here often. Good luck, hope you get a big one. I agree with the others, lots of pics Fletch!
  15. Ah crap, on my phone no edit button. Forgot to state yardage, 18 yds. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  16. Wasn't happy with my recent groups. Decided to put a stableizer on, Throphy Ridge Dart. After some tweaking the past few days this is first group on new target tonight. First a little high and left, second and third in there but still a little left. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  17. Lets get back on topic instead of font warring! Anyone have an educated guess on the quoted question?
  18. Really? Read what you posted. Didn't come off as a joke. Some people wish to keep the identity/names of family members private.
  19. Umm, I'm not going to comment on that one.
  20. I don't know. Never met growie or you for that matter. Just really irritating when people attack spouses on here. It's uncalled for. You want to challenge the individual so be it, but don't attack family!
  21. What's the party in bold mean Biz? If I may ask?
  22. Should be an interesting game. Cowboys at home usually play tough even in the pre-season. I was going to watch it, but the fiancée asked me please let her maintain her reprieve from football until the actual season starts. So I conceded. Don't care for either team anyway. But, being a Bills fan, I hope the Cards kick the Cowboys ass!
  23. Biz, if you want to hunt coyotes get an e-caller and go. Only thing stopping you is you. Git-r-done. As for the point growie is trying to get through is coyotes are smart and evolve and adapt. They are becoming bolder in some areas. If you feel your area has to large of a population, do something about it. If not, then let them be. Something that stood out to me in this thread was people saying they saw few if any 20 years ago, but now they are seen often. So the numbers are growing. If left unchecked, what will the numbers look like in another 20 years? Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  24. Picked up my license and tags today. Was going to apply for same DMP's as last year, but decided to just try for 2 in 4B. Last year second was 4J, but didn't see a need as I won't be hunting there. It's not that far of a drive, but still, 30 minute drive to hunt in an urban area didn't make sense to me. 25. For the past three years we have been making our own tomato sauce, we get our tomatoes from Shaul Farms. This was a sad announcement from the farm. For about 34 years I have been camping at Max V. Shauls State Campground. In all that time one of the best things was hitting the produce stand. They made it through Hurricane Irene, and the next year had some nasty storms as well. To hear they are taking this season off is more then disheartening. Check out the site or FB page for more info.
