Thank you grow. Read up and our issue is temps climbed fast, and getting hammered with rain. Few different sites recommend Tomato Rot Stop or equivalent. Just put a ton more slits in the plastic, and getting the treatment stuff. Funny it can hit my pepper plants as well, but they are all fine. Thanks again for the help grow. No. I know the house you are talking about though. We got the idea from the web. Garden is doing pretty good. 20 tomatoes, and between all three types of hot peppers 88, and pickeling cukes are flowering. Gave up on the herbs. Question. Bottom of one of the tomatoes was rotting. We have the tripod ( bought it when I bought the camera ), have rechargeable batteries ( need to get more ), and it's a digital camera ( no film ) with a 30 GIG card. Won't be taking it out in the rain. I will have to learn the ins/outs of the camera, it has a few filters installed, I just have to learn what they do ( I know the night filter ( or WTFevr it's called stinks! ). I have the instructions somewhere ( lost in a box of other instructions for TV, Blu Ray Player, ETC... ) , but decided to look up what the capabilities are. Just looking to see what the top photo posters have to say about how to deal with using a camera more or less like a gun or bow I was hunting with.

About 4 years ago I bought my fiancée a GE X500 Camera. Not the best, but it was she asked for. She uses it, but not a lot, so I am thinking if taking it along on hiking and scouting trips to try and get some better pics then my cell phone provides. I am currently looking up the functionality of the camera and what accessories I can get for it. As I said, it's not the top of the line camera most on here have, but any advice would be appreciated.

Not much going on since my last post. All plants still growing well, had to gently adjusted some tomato vines to the cages. Have another two Hot Cherry Peppers that budded up. Can't wait for the tomato plants to produce! Fiancée knew going in that I was going to do more fried green tomatoes then let them ripen.

I don't have the space most of you have for a garden. I posted a thread about trying something new using pails and laundry baskets for our garden. Everything is growing great! Tomato plants are doing great, jalapeño plants are flowering, Hungarian Hot Wax are flowering and growing tiny peppers, and the Hot Cherry Pepper plants have about 8 peppers already blooming. The only thing not doing well is the herbs the fiancée planted.
