With any difference of opinion, on any website, you will get font sparring. Just like in real life off a device or computer, you will not always like or agree with everyone. I agree, for the crimes he was convicted of, he served a fair amount of time. But, if things were handled properly in the double homocide we all know he committed, he would have most likely been serving two consecutive life sentences. So, IMO, he still got off easy. I had one like that about 10 years ago. But I also carry a basic two burner propane stove. gave the grill to a buddy. We tent camp so the stove works just fine for me. Make sure you test the connection valve before each trip. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk

Have a couple months, but wanted to get some insight. Thank you to all who have replied. Will take a look at the Nikon. Also found a couple sites offering the Bushnell Trophy Hunter I have on my 7mm-08 reduced to $130. Like that scope. Been on the 08 for a few years now and zero is there. The other reason for a new scope is the rings. Currently, the bolt hits the scope. Never liked that since I bought the .25-06 just over a year ago. There's a million things a new bow hunter should learn. But, seeing the question was about tips for hunting public land, #1 is scout, then scout more, and when you think you have it down, scout some more! Boots on the ground! Spend as much time in the woods learning how the deer travel. Where bedding areas are, food and water sources, and the best vantage point for a good shot and minimal tracking.
