That would be right. It's called the 'Grace Period'. Kind of like other states that make you wait 3 days for a pistol. The only issue I had with the delay is not knowing why. The places you buy from aren't privy to the info as to why the delay or even a denial. Or so they claim. Will post a pic after I pick the Axis up in the morning.

Great time to buy a new gun, bow, or even a camp. "I got a great deal hun! I had to do it!". LOL Just do what ever you want. Go fishing, maybe camping, call some friends and have a guys night smoking stogies and drinking. If you really want to get frisky get a stripper.

Thanks again everyone. It's an odd feeling; happy, anxious, and concern all rolled into one. But Giving a middle finger to the festering rat hole we are leaving will be a nice day to say the least. Sometimes listening to those with more knowledge gives a different perspective on things and you might even learn a thing or 50. Just make sure to bring the wife so you don't have to drive. I have to ask about the park rules on outdoor fire pits. Be it a commercial one or if I can build one.

THERE WILL BE NO WALL! The cost, time, and hiring engineers to get it done won't happen. Concrete, mortar, re-bar, and steel reinforcement would put the cost out of reach. Not to mention who would hop on board that has the skill to get this job done. Would you leave your family for years to get this wall built? I doubt it.

I would go a little heftier for tree rats. Not for nothing, but, when trying to safe guard your home from rodents, use metal. Lightweight aluminum works well. Wood does not. Do I have actual personal experience? Nope. But, before my back got trashed and was helping my brother do remodels there were a few times the customers were also doing pest control and sealing and the companies they hired always used metal. Lets take a look for those who are blind. LOL In the first image below, you can see an odd shape with that looks like an arm going through the ferns. Red square. In the daylight image, the second, the ferns do not look the same as at night. Red square. In the last image, look at the green square, that looks like a camo pattern, not what's in the daylight pic. It's leaves at night, and ferns in daylight. Time to call monster hunters. LOL It's most likely an odd play on light. Maybe.....Muahahahahahaaaa!

Well if you want be all technical...........Geez.....LOL I don't worry much about the age of the fish I catch. As long as they are of legal size they get filleted and go straight to either the pan or the freezer.

Trout, catfish/bullheads, sharks, eels, rays, sturgeon................. As for the age..I ask for the drivers license.

Yeah, they said 4 days and if I don't hear from them I can pick it up on Friday. All this so called technology and all it really does is slow things down. LOL

OK, so we wen't to a local gun shop today to get some ammo on the way to look at some houses. They had a used Savage Axis in 25-06 with a decent scope for $250. I bought my ammo and we left. I talked to the g/f and we decided to stop on the way home and I was going to buy the rifle. I had to at that price! I do the pc NICS check, after about 15 minutes the salesman says there was a delay of a few days and they would call me when it was done. OK. I pay him and we leave. I wonder what the delay is? Last Summer I bought two guns on one day and came home with them on the same day. Last month when I bought the .22LR, I waited about an hour and came home with that the same day as well. Maybe the delay is because I just bought a gun last month?

Someone else asked about them a while ago too grow. I think it was a hoax or some rip off company, can't remember.
